This is especially useful for cannons, barrels, exhaust pipes and other tubes. They can be applied over any surface, preferably black matt, and should be rubbed gently with cotton, a brush or your fingertip. Het makkelijkste is om de kwast in de fixer te dopen (gebruik een klein beetje in een eierdopje bijvoorbeeld) en tip dan de pigment aan. Breng aan op het oppervlakte met een beweging zoals je wilt dat de verwering eruit moet komen te zien (streep, rond, omhoog springend, modderspattend etc). Daarna laten drogen. De oorsprongelijke kleur van het pigment komt na het uitdrogen weer terug (nat met fixeer is donkerder). Niet giftige op waterbasis gemaakte pigmentlijm dus ook kindvriendelijk!
