With access to Prowl, the unit can patiently wait for the right moment before safely engaging vulnerable enemy shooters without exposing itself too early. Each starter set is a great beginning set to play a game of Last Argument of Kings – add on to build up to a 2000 pt Tournament Army. Few, if any, have ever truly understood what happened to Hazlia when he Fell. What is known is that Humanity’s Allfather fell into the prison of Death – but was not stopped. And, like those sworn to him in life, Hazlia returned, as did his Dominion. A common misconception amongst modern historians and their students is that the title of Dominion refers to the Dominion of Man. It most certainly does not. The original inhabitants referred instead to the Dominion of Hazlia, the Pantokrator, God of Mankind. And with his Fall the Dominion ended – but did not die. Far to the east of the Hundred Kingdoms, past the Claustrine Mountains and the desert wasteland beyond it, lie the heartlands of the old Dominion. Once a continent-spanning power, the legions of the old Dominion were powerful enough to threaten even the elder races of the Dweghom and the Spires into acquiescence, or at least a semblance of it. Past the once teeming valleys and fertile plains of the Heartlands lie the river valleys upon which Capitas, the greatest city of humanity ever built, was founded. And it is here, amongst the ruins of the holiest of cities of man, that the remnants of Hazlia fell. Wounded unto death, but immortal and driven to a towering rage by the betrayal of his subjects, Hazlia was pushed beyond the limits of despair and rage. In his hubris he sought to end the Old Dominion but was foiled by the sacrifice of another member of the Pantheon: Ninuah, the Mother. A supercharged 1 player starter for the Dweghom optimized to start Conquest: The Last Argument of Kings ruleset, with all models absolutely ready for Conquest: First Blood play too! With souls and bodies shaped by Fire, Earth and War, the Dweghom have driven the Dragons to extinction and broken the world to become masters of their own destiny – just to then disagree on what that destiny should be… The Dweghom are the firstborn children of War, and their long history is steeped in warfare and loss. Originally crafted by the dragons as a race of peerless craftsmen, their Ancestors were forged to be the ultimate servitors – hardy, industrious, loyal, and dedicated to the creation of beauty. Their lifespans were vastly extended, and their memories made deep and enduring, so that the secrets of their craft would not be lost from generation to generation. For millennia, they labored for their masters, and the Dragons thrived. Matchless artifacts and beautiful relics swelled the Dragon hoards, while the Rooks, the dragons’ lairs, were transformed into marvels of architecture and engineering. Box Contents: 1 Blooded Character 24 Trolls 3 Fenr Beastpack 1 Mountain Jotnar Product Information: Assembly: Required Box size: 34x17.5x7.5 cm; 1520grs Material: Plastic Scale: 38mm Far to the north, in the snow covered lands of what was once Jotunheimm, the land of Giants, mankind has risen once more after the apocalypse devoured their gods and unleashed the plague of giants upon them. Led by the Einherjar, living demigods of battle who survived the untimely death of their gods, the Nords have clawed back control of their lands at a tremendous cost. With their own heroes losing control of their powers and devolving into beasts even as their descendants struggle to contain the divine power of the blood coursing through their veins, the Nords have been forced to blur the line between what is human and what is a monster, even as they battle to retain their humanity. Nords are all about aggression—destroy or be destroyed. A typical Nord strategy involves applying relentless pressure on the opponent until they break. Masters of ambush and surprise, the army thrives on momentum, springing ambushes through Zonal Terrain and waiting for the perfect moment to strike while the enemy is distracted and engaged. Whether you want to flood the battlefield with Raiders, Ulfhednar, and Bearsarks—stalk and hunt your opponents with werewolves and packs of wild beasts—or trample them to dust with mighty Jotnars and the elite forces of the Exalted, the Nords are for you!
