Lore: What is the point of power if it is not exercised? Kami who follow the path of the Ayakashi revel in the power their realm has granted them, leading to swollen and might-infused forms. Capable of consuming unfathomable amounts of food and drink, especially drink, and wading into combat with no regard for the blades of their foes, Kami are equally likely to engage in either. Slow and ponderous, their powerful bodies can shrug off the blows of their foes as they assert their dominance of the field, overwhelming their enemies with crushing ease. How they Play: Steadfast and highly resilient, the Kami Ayakashi – Resistance (Chi) – is the premier Yoroni Regiment for capturing a point on the battlefield and keeping it no matter what. As troops, they offer considerable sustained damage; as Regiment leaders, however, they elevate their Regiment’s defensive stats, making them a true wall.

Some possess enough to walk the path of the Sorcerer, bending these elements to their will, while most others possess only enough to be a danger to themselves and others. The Tempered Sorcerers have long sought to both harness and mitigate these tendencies in the dweghom race. The Magma Forged are among their latest successes: allowing the unbalanced and uncontrolled interaction between fire and earth power to power Magma, a lesser form of the balanced mastery of Metal, with enough control that the wielder is not immediately reduced to a pile of smoldering bones and charred flesh. The fumes and heat produced from this process are channeled outwards, generating a powerful field that both weakens the foe and innervates the wielder making him impervious to damage as his foes wither and melt around him.    How they play: The Magmaforged are the more heavily armored brethren of the Flame Berserkers, focusing on following up on the Berserkers' advance and tasked with holding onto the territory the Berserkers cleared before them.

Lore The Buccephaloi of the Old Dominion were the sacred guardians of it’s holiest sites. Clad in beautiful ceremonial panoplies, these simple and devout guardians were selected from amongst the most powerful of Minotaur Thyreans, their horns ritually cut off in an act of devotion and subservience to Hazlia. Such was the power and majesty of the Buccephaloi that only in death were they called to battle, while alive none dared oppose them. How they Play: Temple Guardians of Old, the Buccephaloi return to play the role of the unstoppable juggernaut, providing some much needed offensive power to the Old Dominion forces. Even from the early stages of the game a combination of Cleave (3) and Brutal Impact (1), more as Dark Power Pool goes up in Tiers, will provide a much needed counter offensive during the stages of the game where Enemy Heavy Regiments are adding up pressure. Lore: While female Speakers display an admirable affinity to the carnivorous Raptors that dwell within their primal lands, they are not the only cavalry the W’adrhŭn can bring to bear. Riding juvenile Brontoceratops (the elder beasts being too stubborn and docile to be goaded to battle) the Thunder Riders descend on the enemy formations in an unstoppable avalanche of muscle, crest and violence. The sheer power and impact these mounts can bring to bear as they stampede and trample enemy lines has earned these young riders a terrifying reputation that belies their years. How they Play: The W'adrhŭn version of Heavy Shock Cavalry, the Thunder Riders focus more on a debilitating Charge rather than sustained combat, even though their defensive stats would naturally protect them. Although their Movement stats are more in line with Brutes, this Cavalry Regiment will give any defensive formation a real run for its points. Lore Precursors to the lauded Praetorians, the origin of the Athanatoi is shrouded in the myths and legends that churned around the birth of the Dominion and its early forces. The ranks of these Athanatoi were capped at one thousand, to be replenished from a pool of the most talented warriors the Dominion had to offer should one of them fall in battle. Now, even in death, they serve, bringing their god’s judgment on all those foolish enough to think they can stand before these immortals. Box Contents ●    Dual Kit. Lore:Lunopeth Moths were tamed and bound millennia ago by the Weaver Courts. Long lines of these night flyers have been life-bound to the weavers for so long, they are now an inseparable part of their society. The tangled terrain and verticality of the Weaver Domains lends itself to flying mounts. Their delicate bodies do not lend themselves well to the rigors of combat, but the Weavers have compensated for this, arming their riders with ranged weapons. The Skiathan Riders go to combat armed with cunningly wrought arbalests they can fire while on the wing, harrying the foe without exposing themselves to danger. How they play:   These flying cavalry skirmishers execute hit-and-run tactics, bombing enemy regiments as they fly overhead! However, to deal significant damage, the enemy regiments must be marked with Seeds—something the Weaver Courts are highly proficient at!   Box Contents ●    Dual Kit. Dai Yokai are those currently walking the path of the Bushi and their martial prowess and expertise know no match. Masters of the blade and confident in their own power these enlightened paragons have been known to bring down fortress walls with a single perfect strike. Slicing through the mortal flesh of their foes is no challenge at all for these roving calamities. Greatest among the Yoroni are those who seek to emulate the path of Shuten-doji, the first of their path to walk and master the path of Enlightenment. Each of these brave souls must walk the path of the realms twice, once as a Bushi, seeking enlightenment from the noble ideas of their Path, and another as an Ayakashi, seeking enlightenment through self gratification. While none have yet managed to replicate this legendary achievement, many of the greatest among the Yoroni continue to try this lonely path. Their forms have swelled to accommodate the power their enlightenment affords them even as their corruption and impurities slowly seep from their bodies, further perfecting them as they walk the path towards ultimate enlightenment.   How they play:An amalgamation of all Ideal types, the Dai Yokai is a monstrous master swordsman and duelist effortlessly moving through the battlefield while cutting down enemy regiments in its path. It only takes a split second before its sword is unsheathed and a path of fallen enemies has opened. This monster can play with any of the 5 Ideal Card types. The player selects the Ideal Card that they will use in the game in the beginning from the 5 options. Eschewing the combat formations of their predecessors, the Order of the Shield traveled the lands alone and sought to alleviate suffering where they could. The Emperor elevated their Order to the rank of Imperial Magistrates, allowing the Errant Knights of the Shield to work as judge, jury and executioner against all but the most powerful of noble houses. This did not endear them to the nobility, and when the last Emperor died one of their first moves was to seek out and destroy any members of this ancient order. Today they are few and far in between but continue their thankless task of protecting the citizens and peasants of the 100 Kingdoms against all those who would prey upon them, especially the nobility itself. How They Play:   Protecting the citizens and peasants of the 100 Kingdoms, the Errant gathers the forces of the Militia launching a crusade of law and righteousness against those who seek to oppress them. Where light troops seem to struggle at first glance, the Errant may call the Orders directly to help - allowing you to build a truly unique Warband mixed with Militia and powerful Order Regiments!

Lore: Standing well over 7 feet tall, the Oni are a terrifying sight to behold. Their powerful frames are capable of incredible feats of strength and savagery, matching the realm they were born from. While most of the time this explosive power is tamed behind the strict codes of the Bushi and its Enlightenment, those who follow the path of the Ayakashi care little for such restraints. These powerful warriors have attained Paradise after an eternity of torment and sacrifice and now revel in it. Their discipline has given way to impulsiveness; their strict code of honor has become one of personal exploration and gratification. Their wild, untamed nature makes them a valuable asset on the field of battle, where their savagery and aggression shine. How they Play: Powerful and lethal the Oni Ayakashi - Force (Ka) - will spring into action destroying all but the most steadfast defenders. As troops they offer a strong punch to any Regiment that contains one. As Regiment leaders they elevate the Regiment’s combat prowess providing some much needed additional attacks while offering a reliable Charge Distance.

In Game Role ●    Battlefield Role: Mainstay Infantry●    Class: Light●    Type: Infantry Lore: Much like the God himself, worship of Hazlia did not quite die in the aftermath of the Fall. Small isolated monasteries that worshiped their god and his apocalyptic vision survived by raiding, cannibalism and other methods too foul to describe. Once discovered, the fanatics among their number were selected and inducted into the mysteries of Hazlia’s deathly cult, promised ascension into his deathless ranks should they succeed in killing their target through whatever means they can muster. Today the Cultists and Hashashin operate independently of the undead Legions, sowing chaos and death ahead of their relentless advance. How they play: Fanatical zealots, the Cultists roam the battlefield permeated by an unholy aura. In Game Role ●    Battlefield Role: Anti-Character●    Class: Heavy●    Type: Monster Lore: While the corruption of the Elemental Domains was eventually understood, the existence of the Asuras has never been explained. Violent, malicious and powerful, the effort needed to defeat and bind one of these monstrosities is exceeded only by their effectiveness on the battlefield. The Sorcerer Kings have found it easier to control these beasts if their bloodthirsty urges are satiated on the battlefield: the Ravanar look only to destroy while the Bakasura seek worth foes to hunt down and consume. Their binders travel the length and breadth of the Sorcerer King domains to find worthy foes for these minor deities, and while few are worthy, but all serve to satiate their hunger for pain and bloodshed. How they Play: Ravenous beings of Fire, the Rakshasa's are unleashed upon the Enemies of the Sorcerer Kings to hunt down and slay the mightiest of foes. Their Special Rules, "Arrogance" and "Hubris" allows them to quickly close the gap between them and their favorite prey. The Ravanar is only satiated by hunting down the mightiest of Monsters whilst the Basakura revels in calling out Enemy Characters in Duels only to destroy and humiliate them. The Order of the Crimson Tower has taken upon itself to combat one of the great scourges of mankind: War. They have forsaken the notion of eliminating it entirely, instead focusing on ensuring it causes as little collateral damage as possible. Incredibly scrupulous in securing employment, they not only demand their employer have a strong Casus Belli (legal reason for war) but demand from their employers that no looting or pillaging take place. Lore While unmatched in formation combat on an open field, Phalangites and Hoplites do not fare well in constrained spaces and rough terrain. Thorakites are the answer to these problems. Much like the Ugr’s, Werewargs are seen as the children of the Einherjar Vargyr, known for his shapeshifting abilities. They are more correct than they know. Werewargs are born when a blood descendant of Vargyr is bitten by a Warg and somehow survives. The influx of Warg DNA triggers the latent abilities, but lacking their forefathers control, it does so uncontrollably, triggering each time the warrior is stressed or injured. In battle these changes are triggered in a relentless cascade, their bodies reverting to their primordial form, healing them of all injury sustained, but exacting a terrible toll on their metabolism, making these beasts unstoppable, ravenous horrors the world has learnt to fear. Not all Yoroni succeed at attaining the pinnacle of the Five Fold Path. Some are simply too reduced, too weakened by their ordeal to reach the top. Stranded halfway, these weakened and reduced souls would be doomed to an eternity trapped within the Eternal Pagoda were it not for the efforts of the Kototamagaku. These skilled practitioners are capable of calling forth these weakened spirits by invoking their name, aiding them in crossing over to the Prime domain even in their weakened form. Thus reduced, these pitiful remnants lack the raw power of the Yoroni who cross on their own, but make up for it in sheer numbers and the boundless exuberance for even a brief respite in the Prime domain is enough to empower these souls, invigorating them to return to the Five Fold Path with a vengeance and attain its peak, crossing forth on their own. Shikigami give the Yoroni forces a cost-effective screening regiment, enabling your elite units to maneuver around them with greater tactical flexibility as well as Charging and Volleying straight through the screen. Lore The greatest, and perhaps most dangerous, goal of the Weaver Courts is their dream to make Ea a paradise, a dream realm where all strands of life work in perfect harmony together. The awakening of the Whisper has heralded a new age in this regard, but long before this sentience emerged, the Will o’Wisps danced through the glades and bogs of the Faerann. Not sentient, but clearly with purpose, these beings are understood to protect the forest. When danger arrives, they swarm to it, their coiling tentacles and noxious vapors hindering the foe while leaving the weavers entirely untroubled, much like they knew what the foreign body is, and who their allies are. How they play Will O’ Wisps are not combatants themselves – they are a beautiful, glistening visage that lures the enemy closer, only for them to realize too late the keen sharpshooters taking aim from behind. Seeds on their arrows pollinate and blossom as they interact with the Wisps’ magical aura.
