Dit product kan worden gecombineerd met een UV-zaklamp om binnen 2-4 minuten te drogen. Zonder gebruik van de UV zaklamp heeft op een zonnige dag de gel een droogtijd van 5-10 minuten. Op een bewolkte dag, 20-40 minuten. Kan worden gekleurd. De UV-hars kan met een de wash of intensity inkten worden gemengd om de gel met slechts enkele druppels te verven. Holografische (regenboog) verf Deze holografische verf is op alcoholbasis en voorzien van microdeeltjes die de lichtgolven van diverse lengten reflecteert waardoor er een regenboogeffect ontstaat met een metaalachtige finish. Kies elke (gloss) kleur als basislaag. Het effect zal afhankelijk zijn van het aantal opgebrachte lagen verf. Meer lagen betekent een meer intens metaalachtige finish. Maar als je teveel lagen gebruikt zal het holografisch effect verminderen. Dus zet met je airbrush een laag op, laat drogen en bepaal dan of je nog een laag wilt aanbrengen. Werk zo door tot het gewenste effect. Wanneer je het oppervlakte blootstelt aan licht (welk dan ook) dan reflecteert de laag. Gebruik een gloss vernis / gloss varnish om dit effect te versterken. U kunt ook de kleverigheid verminderen door talkpoeder toe te passen of door een oliebasis als Vaseline te gebruiken.Andere epoxy klei zoals de Milliput putty, bijvoorbeeld, zijn ook geschikt, maar we zouden niet aanraden om ze veel nat te maken. Als het mengsel te plakkerig is, is het beter om door te gaan met kneden totdat de plakkerigheid verdwenen is.
