This is especially useful for cannons, barrels, exhaust pipes and other tubes. They can be applied over any surface, preferably black matt, and should be rubbed gently with cotton, a brush or your fingertip. A small quantity of Master Medium can be mixed to act as a fixer to avoid the pigments from coming off if touched. However, applying pigment fixers or varnish afterwards could alter the final effect.
