Water-soluble patinas to make miniatures, scale models, terrain, and props look dirty and worn down. Water-Soluble Patina is a partially water-soluble decorative patina designed to create realistic effects of aging, grime, rust, moisture, soot, wear, and tonal variations on miniatures, models, scenery, props, and other non-porous surfaces. Its formula provides an ultra-matte, natural finish and is designed so that the pigments settle organically into crevices, textures, and reliefs, achieving more believable results than those of conventional paint. Additionally, it is a non-toxic acrylic product with no harsh fumes. It is important to shake the product well before each use, as some components may separate and settle at the bottom of the container during storage. If it has been left to stand for a long time, you can use metal balls to mix it thoroughly. Using a wet palette is not recommended. It can be applied directly or diluted slightly with water if necessary. Clean brushes and tools with water or alcohol immediately after use and prevent the product from drying on them. It can also be used with an airbrush to achieve smoother transitions, weathering effects, and large-scale aging effects. Depending on the pressure used in the compressor, it may be necessary to slightly dilute the product for use in the airbrush. In that case, add a few drops of water and stir until well diluted. Clean the airbrush as usual after use. Apply to clean, dry, grease-free surfaces such as plastic, resin, or metal. Not recommended for porous or absorbent surfaces such as untreated wood or paper. The intensity of the effect will depend on the amount applied, the number of coats, and the technique used. To remove and activate the product, use cotton swabs, a brush, or a sponge dampened with water to remove excess and activate the product, thereby achieving finishes ranging from soft and subtle to more intense, irregular, and personalized effects. Since it is partially water-soluble, the finish may be altered if it gets wet or is handled with wet hands; therefore, it is recommended to seal the final result with a matte varnish (or mod podge) to preserve it and maintain its natural appearance. Do I need a spray booth for airbrushing? If you paint regularly indoors, the answer is, yes, you do need a spray booth for airbrushing. A spray booth helps contain overspray, reduces the amount of paint residue floating around your hobby room, and makes airbrushing more comfortable over long sessions. It is especially useful for miniature painters, model makers, and crafters who want to protect their work area, improve cleanliness, and maintain better working conditions while painting. This spray booth is also designed with ease of use in mind. It includes an on/off switch with an indicator light that shows when the unit is powered on, making operation simple and intuitive. You paint miniatures, scale models, terrain, or crafts with an airbrush and want a cleaner, more controlled workspace. You need a compact and lightweight spray booth that can be folded away easily when not in use. You want to reduce overspray and airborne paint particles while working indoors. You value a quieter setup, with noise levels around 45 dB, for more comfortable hobby sessions. You want a practical booth with helpful accessories such as a turntable, carry handle, and illuminated power switch. You occasionally work on larger projects and like the option of combining two translucent booths for more space. ❌ This is NOT for you if... You only paint with traditional miniature paint brushes and do not use an airbrush at all. You need an industrial-grade extraction system for heavy commercial or professional workshop use. You regularly work with very large pieces and need a permanently oversized spray booth. You are looking for a spray booth designed for solvent-heavy industrial painting rather than hobby and modeling applications. You do not have enough workspace to unfold the booth to its full operating size. Frequently Asked Questions Do I really need a spray station for miniature painting? If you paint indoors on a regular basis, it is highly recommended. A good extraction unit helps capture overspray, reduces floating paint particles, and keeps your workspace cleaner and more comfortable during long sessions. What does a paint extraction cabinet actually do?Its main job is to pull in overspray, paint mist, and airborne residue through a filter system. This helps prevent color particles from spreading around your hobby area and improves working conditions while spraying. Can I use it for miniatures, scale models, and scenery?Yes. These units are suitable for miniatures, scale models, terrain pieces, dioramas, cosplay parts, crafts, and many other hobby projects that involve spray painting. Does it remove fumes completely? No. It helps capture paint particles and reduce airborne residue, but it does not make harmful vapors disappear completely. Good room ventilation is still important, especially when using solvent-based products. Is it only useful for advanced hobbyists? Not at all. It is just as useful for beginners as it is for experienced painters. In fact, new users often benefit the most because it helps keep the painting area tidy and easier to manage from the start. How often should I replace the filter? That depends on how often you paint and how much material you spray. If the filter looks saturated, airflow drops, or paint residue starts building up faster than usual, it is time to clean or replace it. Can I use acrylics, primers, and varnishes in it?Yes, it is commonly used with acrylic paints, primers, varnishes, inks, and similar hobby products. You should still check the product you are spraying and make sure your setup is appropriate for that type of material. Is a foldable model strong enough for regular use?Yes, provided it is well-made and used correctly. GSW's compact foldable design is very practical for hobbyists who need to save space without giving up a dedicated spraying area. Does a quieter unit still work well?Yes. A lower noise level does not automatically mean weak performance. Many modern hobby spray stations are designed to offer a good balance between airflow, comfort, and everyday usability. Will it keep my room perfectly clean? It helps a lot, but no extraction system keeps a room perfectly spotless. It reduces mess and overspray significantly, especially compared to spraying without any protection at all. What should I look for before buying one?The most important things are airflow, filter quality, working area size, noise level, portability, ease of storage, and whether it suits the kinds of models and projects you normally paint.

  • King John: Barons' War Hardcover Sourcebook King John: Barons' War Hardcover Sourcebook

King John: Barons' War Hardcover Sourcebook

4 in stock Binnen 2 dgn verzonden

A MIGHTY TOME TO EXPAND YOUR BARONS' WAR EXPERIENCE! The reign of King John (1199-1217) was a tumultuous turning-point in the history of England. Decades of tension with the kings of France boiled over into conflict which saw Normandy, Brittany and Anjou lost. Meanwhile the fractious and restive rulers of Wales sought to exploit any sign of weakness and the kings of Scotland cast covetous eyes on Northumbria. At centre stage was King John, a figure whose distrusting nature made him as ungrateful to his allies as he was spiteful to his enemies. Resentment, hatred and fear pushed many of England's barons into armed defiance, leading to the Magna Carta, an unprecedented compromise limiting royal power. When it was quashed by the Pope, civil war followed. The Barons' War: King John brings these turbulent times onto the tabletop. It updates the Feudal European retinue list and introduces six more factions to the game: the light and flexible Welsh, the diverse and colourful Scottish, the aggressive Poitevins and the proudly disciplined Flemish, as well as hard-bitten professional Mercenaries and the cunning and desperate Outlaws. The hardcover 246 page sourcebook also provides rules and background for a score of the dramatis personae of the story, enabling you to command your troops with the vindictive King John, the chivalrous William Marshal and the scheming King Philip Augustus - or even Robin Hood and his Merry Men. Ten historical scenarios allow you to re-tell the bloody story of King John's reign, from bitter clashes in the Welsh Marches to the king's harrying of his enemies. You can recreate the titanic pitched battle of Bouvines or follow the stages of the climatic battle of Lincoln. Whichever side you take, there will be something for you in the first supplement for the new edition of The Barons' War.

28mm Dark Age & Medieval Farm Animals - Pillage The Farm Yard   Drive off your enemy’s livestock or defend your farm from raiders. This set contains a huge selection of Dark Age and Medieval farm animals perfect for Pillage scenarios, objectives, or adding life and realism to your tabletop. Ideal as lootable livestock in Pillage or as scenery for any historical or fantasy wargame. What’s included? 104 Farm Animals: 16 Sheep 8 Goats 4 Donkeys 4 Horses 4 Calves 8 Cows 20 Chickens 24 Geese 4 Piglets 4 Sows 4 Pigs 4 Lambs The livestock animals of the Dark Ages and Medieval periods looked quite different to the breeds we have today which have constantly been tampered with to create animals that provide higher yields of meat and milk for farmers. So we had to do quite bit of research into what animals were available in the 8th to 12th centuries and what are the closest references we have available.   The sheep breed we chose is the Jacobs sheep. It was introduced to Britain by the Romans. It is a small breed only coming up to the knees on a human. But it was a hardy animal which was well suited to the wet Western European climate. We have some females a lamb and also a ram to keep the sheep happy!   The Goat breed is an Old English primitive goat and date back to around 3000BC. It is a small breed but very hardy and suited to cold and rough environments and has spectacular horns.   For the Horse we chose a Breton horse breed. Very much akin to the English shire horse in being bulky and full of muscle and very suited to agricultural work.   For Cows we went back to the Highland cow for reference which is a close relative of early domesticated cattle. It is short but stocky and very hardy for harsh winters and produces good milk and meat. We created a little family with a Cow, Bull and little lowing calf.   Lastly we have the pigs. These were a bit tricky to research. Medieval pigs tended to be more closely related to the wild Boar and had longer snouts, longer legs and were hairier. Thankfully we found a farm that is retro breeding pigs back towards the Boar to create a more Medieval and Iron Age breed. These were ideal for reference and we created a Sow, Boar and piglet family.

    Rolling pin Ancestral Recall

1 in stock Binnen 2 dgn verzonden

Textured Rolling Pins capable of pressing a continuous repeated pattern on clay and putties. Made of clear PMMA plastic with amazing non-stick properties. Non-toxic. They come in several different textures that you can purchase based on your specific needs. Length: 14'50 cm (5’5 inches)Diameter: 2’5cm (1 inch) USE INSTRUCTIONS:  1st - Properly mix the putty/clay until ready according to the manufacturer's recommendations. 2nd - Extend the putty/clay on a surface to be textured. For optimal results, make sure you have got a smooth and even surface before impressing with the Rolling Pins. *** We recommend using a plain Rolling Pin for this. 3rd - Depending on the type of putty/clay, it is advisable to wet the Rolling Pin to prevent any sticking. 4th - Slowly move the Rolling Pin applying equal pressure at all points for an even texture. 5th - Trim any excess putty/clay with a sharp knife. It is recommended to do this once it has dried to avoid any deformations in the putty/clay. MATERIALS: There are plenty of different putties and clays on the market and all of them can be textured using the proper technique. Usually polymer clay (Fimo or Sculpey type) are quite simple to work with these Rolling Pins as they allow for an easy correction of mistakes before they are baked. If the aim is to make textured bases, we recommend using MDF bases, because you can texture the polymer clay directly onto an MDF base, and then put it all in the oven, including the base. The cooking time of these clays are around 15 minutes at 150ºC. MDF Wood may leave a slight scent similar to that of toasted bread, but don't worry it won’t burn! In the case of epoxy putties, there are a variety of techniques which achieve similar results. Good thing is. you do not need to bake them, so they may be applied directly onto plastic bases. For Green Stuff putty, which is particularly sticky, it is required to slightly wet either the putty or the Rolling Pin with some water before texturing. You may also reduce the stickiness by applying talcum powder, or using (Sculptor) Vaseline. Other epoxy putties like the Milliput putty, for example, are also suitable, but we wouldn't recommend to wet them much since it will hinder your work. Furthermore, if the mixture is too sticky, it is better to continue kneading until the stickiness is gone. *** For this type of epoxy putties, it is very important to clean the rolling pins properly after use. CARE INSTRUCTIONS: After working with the Rolling Pins, use a Scratch Brush and plenty of water to clean off any residue on the Rolling Pins if required. SAFETY: To ensure safety, children should be closely monitored by a responsible adult.

    Open cell XPS foam 10mm

XPS extruded polystyrene foam | Open-Cell XPS Foam Open-cell XPS extruded polystyrene foam, also called Styrofoam, is a lightweight, strong, durable, and less dense material than its sister closed-cell XPS foam in blue, giving it a "low memory" effect that is ideal for marking, engraving, texture transfer, scratching, and roughing. Open-Cell XPS Foam can be used to create various scenery such as hills and cliffs, game boards, different model building elements such as bricks, or even columns and large bases for dioramas. It is a lightweight and durable material that is easy to work with, making it a popular choice among amateurs and professionals. The texture to the touch of this material is reminiscent of very fine sandpaper, so for painting, it is recommended to post-process it by applying a protective coating or surface sealer such as our Medium Decoupage. Unlike blue XPS foam, this open-cell material can be engraved with textured rollers or carved with a modeling tool for sculpting.  Open-cell extruded XPS also has great moisture resistance and works very well as a thermal insulator. This makes it an excellent choice for creating terrains, landscapes, and other modeling elements, such as buildings, bases, and bricks, as well as being ideal for making game boards, dioramas, and other craft projects. There are several tools you can use to shape and cut it. One of the most common tools is a hot-wire cutter, which is a handheld device that heats a wire to cut through the foam. A hot knife is another tool that uses heat to cut through the foam, but it is more precise than a hot-wire cutter and is ideal for creating intricate details. Saws and knives can also be used to cut through this material. A hand saw or jigsaw is ideal for cutting through larger pieces of foam, while a sharp utility knife or craft knife can be used to make smaller cuts and details. When working with this material, it is essential to take safety precautions as this material can release toxic fumes when heated or sanded vigorously. It is important to wear a fume mask or work in a well-ventilated area to avoid inhaling the fumes. Content: 200x300mm Thickness: 10 mm Type: Open-cell Estimated Density: 33 kg/m³ WARNINGS: Extruded polystyrene XPS is capable of giving off toxic fumes when heated. That heating can be achieved when hot-wire cutting, vigorously sanding, and also by application of hot glue. This foam should never be worked in an enclosed environment or without wearing a graded fume mask. Cutting styrofoam with an electric saw will also melt and produce fumes. Always use appropriate glue such as tuft glue or hot glue to stick styrofoam together. Standard PVA glue or white glue will only stick this foam where they have contact with the air, where air cannot reach the glue then the glue will NOT set and remain liquid. Dust produced when sanding or cutting styrofoams with a saw is also hazardous and should be avoided by wearing a dust mask and using appropriate ventilation and other safety measures. The safe maximum use temperature of extruded polystyrene foam XPS is 75 degrees Celsius (167º Fahrenheit).

Styrene Plastic Variety pack x7 Styrene is a liquid that binds into chains to form high-impact polystyrene (HIPS) in solid form, which is one of the most commonly used plastics with the common name of Plasticard or Evergreen. HIPS is lightweight and easy to work with, making it a favorite of hobbyists and modelers. Plasticard, also known as modeling plastic, is a versatile material widely used in model railroading, slot cars, prototypes, and various craft and scratch-building applications. It is available in smooth sheets, textured sheets, and profiles, and can be easily cut, shaped, and glued, making it a popular choice for modelers and hobbyists. Plasticard can be made from three main types of materials: ABS, Polystyrene plastic, and uPVC (unplasticized polyvinyl chloride), each with distinct characteristics. This type of material, compared to ABS and uPVC, is especially easy to cut, scratch, and bend, which allows for precise and detailed designs. It can be glued with cyanoacrylate adhesives and specific glue for plastics compatible with this material, creating very strong bonds. Its smooth surface accepts paint well, providing excellent results for finished models. However, this material may not be as durable as ABS when subjected to high stresses. Styrene plastic is used in fantasy modeling, military modeling, slot cars, as well as in model or scale model building or scratch building processes. This set includes: Dimension: 200x300 mm Thickness and Quantity: 3x 0.5 mm, 3x 1 mm and 1x 2 mm Finish: Matte 1 side / Gloss 1 side

The GSW Army Transport Backpack is the backpack version of our Army Transport Bag specifically designed to protect your figures during transport. It can be used on your back, or simply as a travel bag with a cross strap to carry it on your shoulder. The GSW miniatures transport backpack is an essential accessory for wargame players and miniatures collectors. This product stands out for combining functionality, durability, and comfort, providing an optimal solution for transporting and protecting delicate miniatures during travel and relocation. The backpack is made of Oxford fabric, known for its lightness and resistance, which makes it ideal to withstand frequent use and adverse transport conditions. In addition, its padding ensures additional protection against impacts and falls, guaranteeing that the miniatures arrive in perfect condition at their destination. With a capacity to carry more than 200 figures, this backpack is perfect for those who need to carry a large number of miniatures to tournaments, gaming sessions or exhibitions. The miniatures are distributed among four levels, allowing for efficient and accessible organization. This storage system is complemented by removable metalized trays, which make it easy to arrange and access miniatures. The MDF trays have an adhesive metal coating which provides a stable and secure base for the magnetized figures. The backpack includes four trays, as well as 21 adjustable heights, allowing the internal space to be customized according to the specific needs of each user and the size of the miniatures. To ensure the integrity of the backpack and the safety of its contents, the GSW includes a reinforced MDF cabinet. This internal structure provides rigidity and durability, protecting the miniatures from possible crushing or deformation during transport. In addition, the GSW backpack is designed to be extremely versatile in terms of transportation. It can be used as a traditional backpack, carrying it comfortably on the back, or as a travel bag, using a crossbody strap to carry it over one shoulder. Comfort of use is another outstanding feature of this backpack. This ensures that users can set up their backpacks efficiently and safely, making the most of the available space. Includes: 1x Warhammer backpack 1x Complete cabinet 4x Trays +4x adhesive metallized rubber sheet Warning: This carrying case must protect your wargame armies, so it is absolutely necessary to reinforce the assembly with PVA glue.

Chrome Spray Paint 400ml - Mirror Spray paint

6 in stock Binnen 2 dgn verzonden

Mirror Spray Paint 400ml Chrome spray paint is a specialized aerosol designed to create a reflective, mirror-like finish on various surfaces. This type of Mirror Spray Paint contains fine metallic particles suspended in a solvent-based medium, which, when applied, align to produce a shiny, chrome-like appearance. It is commonly used in automotive, decorative, and DIY projects to achieve the look of chrome plating without the associated costs and complexities. Mirror spray paint is versatile and can be applied to various surfaces, including metal, plastic, and wood. This adaptability makes it ideal for numerous applications, ranging from automotive parts and accessories to home décor and DIY projects. However, to achieve the best results on different materials, it may be necessary to use specific preparation techniques, such as applying primers designed for the particular type of surface, whether plastic or metal. The final appearance of the mirror spray paint will significantly depend on the color and texture of the surface being painted. To achieve a consistent and reflective finish, it is highly recommended to apply a glossy black primer before starting the painting process. This step ensures that the metallic particles in the paint align correctly, enhancing the reflective properties and providing a smoother, mirror-like finish. The texture of the base surface also plays a crucial role in the final result, so: A matte black base will produce a burnished metal look A satin black base will result in a nice silver metallic finish. For the most mirror-like effect, a glossy black base is essential. This glossy undercoat will maximize the reflective quality of the paint, creating a true mirror effect. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE: - Shake the can properly before each use.- Do not apply too much paint in one spot to avoid the "eye cat effect". This type of paint should be applied with oscillations from left to right to ensure a constant and even application.- Hold the aerosol at least 20-30 centimeters away from the surface you want to paint. This will ensure that the paint is evenly distributed over the entire surface. If you have to access difficult areas, you can get close, but move the spray paint quickly to avoid build-up and drips.- Do not apply the paint from too far away to avoid a rough surface. If it is applied from too close it may drip.- Sprays have propellant gas that could damage some plastics if applied too closely.- Keep the spray at 90º during use. - Clean the diffuser after each use by spraying a little paint but with the bottle completely upside down. In this way, only gas will come out cleaning the inner tubes as well as the diffusers. WARNINGS: Keep out of children's reach. Keep away from heat/sparks / open flames / hot surfaces. Do not spray on an open flame or another source of ignition. Do not pierce or burn, even after use. Keep the recipient hermetically sealed. IN CASE OF INHALATION: Remove the person to fresh air and keep in a position that facilitates breathing. IN CASE OF CONTACT WITH THE EYES: Rinse carefully with water for several minutes. Call a POISON CENTER or doctor: If eye irritation persists, see a doctor.
