Maar als je teveel lagen gebruikt zal het holografisch effect verminderen. Dus zet met je airbrush een laag op, laat drogen en bepaal dan of je nog een laag wilt aanbrengen. Werk zo door tot het gewenste effect. Wanneer je het oppervlakte blootstelt aan licht (welk dan ook) dan reflecteert de laag. Gebruik een gloss vernis / gloss varnish om dit effect te versterken.
