Late Roman Legionaries (2): Lorica Squamata

Description

THOSE WHO TRAMPLE THE NINE BOWS

A strong core of infantry was the bedrock of New Kingdom Egyptian Armies.
Advancements in weaponry and equipment after the defeat of the Hyksos
allowed the military to become organized and composed of professional
soldiers, rather than levy. Archers, able to strike from afar, and spearmen to
defend them. This equipment and organization would serve them well in
campaigns farther from Egypt’s heartland, such as the Second Syrian Campaign
of Ramesses II which culminated in the historic Battle of Kadesh.

This hard plastic box set allows you to create twenty-four (24) New Kingdom
Egyptian infantry, divided as 12 archers and 12 spearmen/swordsmen and
including options for musicians, standard bearers, and command.

Models require assembly and painting. Bases are not included.

  • Sculpting: Gia Huy and Thieu Duong
  • Illustration: Peter Dennis
  • Figure Painting: Stephan Huber
