Commonly called 'Nylon', the Golden Synthetic has some unique characteristics in that its retention, snap and spring are all superb. They are 100% Synthetic and Vegan Friendly.
The larger rounds in the Series 301's are brilliant for laying on colour whilst the smaller rounds are ideal for finer detail. We have ensured they are tapered to a fine point, ideal for precision work with good control. This is a good shape to allow a multitude of marks.
The sable alternative to this brush is our Series 99, which is slightly softer. The Kolinsky Sable alternative is our Series 33, which are one of most popular brushes.
A favourite for all-round work, with the smaller sizes also being ideal for miniture painting too.
The Series 301 work well in Watercolours, Oils, Acrylics, Water mixable Oils & gouache though they are most favoured by watercolourists.
