Let er bij het gebruik van het soort klei op de kleefkracht van de gebruikte soort. Sommig materiaal heeft natte vingers nodig om dat te verhelpen. Wil je deze tool gebruiken met GreenStuff dan is het handig om talkpoeder te mengen met water om het materiaal minder aan de tool te laten kleven. Werkt super met polymer klei als Fimo of een klei als DAS. Blijft er materiaal kleven gebruik dan een tandenborstel om goed tussen de naden schoon te maken. Gebruik geen harde borstel of stalen punten want daarmee maak je de platen kapot. Met de Roll Maker XL set kun je ronde slangen, buizen etc maken tot 75mm in lengte uit 1 stuk, en te combineren met de normale Roll Maker aangezien alle platen een andere grootte hebben en geen dubbele platen zijn.
