This Quar's War
This Quar's War - Quar Crusader Infantry
The Crusader Army is legendary for its military success, much of which is due to its high degree of standardization. Alykinder’s reformation of the Tokish army in 1750 modernized the Crusader Army in every aspect, from tactics and fundamental strategies, to logistical operations and equipment. Though the Crusader Army includes rhyflers of many nations, they all follow the Crusader plan. Infantry use squad- and section-level tactics under the direction of a skillful and veteran corps of Yawdryls and Milwers. Leadership by the NCO is a hallmark of the Crusader light infantry. These squads use the long-range and powerful Ryshi heavy rifle to fix targets at long distance, and then close to use the semi-automatic Bogen combat rifle in the assault. A Crusader infantry section is to be aggressive on the attack, bypassing enemy strong-points where possible in order to advance the line of battle. This hard plastic box set includes enough parts to build 24 Crusaders with options for Ryshi and Bogen rifles and a variety of heads and extra bits and 24 Wargames Atlantic Dual-Use 25mm Bases. Models require assembly and painting. Product contents may vary from photos.

This Quar's War - Quar Crusader Ailthean Tractor
ROLL OVER THE ROYALIST SCOURGE! The Ailthean Light Armored Tractor first rolled into service in 1750. With scouting and pursuit duties along the rugged Tok-Kryst frontier becoming the norm, the Tokish Tractor Corps needed a vehicle that could actually keep up. Unlike its predecessors, the Ailthean was a clean-slate design, built from the treads up. It boasted thicker armor, an enclosed hull, a vastly improved suspension, and twice the cadier-power of the previous designs. But this performance came at a cost: the fighting compartment is tight, hot, and deafening. During long marches, it’s common to see the commander and gunner perched atop the hull for a breath of air and elbow room, while the poor driver clanks along below, sweating and cursing every rut in the trail. Designed as a rhyfler support tractor, the Ailthean is usually attached directly to infantry units, where it scouts ahead, screens advancing units, and lends its 78mm gun to the line when things get loud. The main gun, while intended for high-explosive and smoke shells, can double as an effective anti-tractor weapon against lighter foes. Like most Tok designs, it favors protection over speed, with a combined hull-and-turret structure. Unfortunately, that turret must be rotated using the vehicle’s own transmission—disengaging the tracks to turn the gun. It’s a fine trade… until the target moves. This hard plastic box set includes two frames with all the parts to build one Ailthean tractor and crew. A new edition of This Quar's War: Clash of Rhyfles is in the works and will feature new rules to bring your tractors to the battlefield! The new game will also feature two new factions with new hard plastic sets! This Quar's War - Quar Coftyran Infantry
Though much smaller than the Crusader Army, the Coftyran Crymuster should never be underestimated as a fighting force. Steeped in a rich martial tradition and dedicated to preserving traditional Quar society, the Crymuster is more than willing to stand and fight the Crusader juggernaut. A Coftyran rhyfler can take pride in the manufacture of his weapons, kit, and uniform. Where the Crusader uniform is sparse, utilitarian, and mass-produced, the Coftyran uniform evokes an earlier period. Leathers are still often hand-stitched, and the sternum plate of the haversack proudly displays his unit. These are not merely quaint anachronisms—Coftyr sees itself as the last bastion of traditional civilization, and this quality and detail serve to remind the Crymuster Rhyflers of the social bonds of the Quar. This hard plastic box set includes enough parts to build 24 Coftyrans with options for the Harlech Long Rifle, the Cryfen LMG, and the Doru SMG with a variety of heads and extra bits and 24 Wargames Atlantic Dual-Use 25mm Bases. Models require assembly and painting. Product contents may vary from photos.

This Quar's War - Quar Crusader Specialists
INTO THE TRENCHES! The Crusader Army’s strength lies not just in its discipline, but in its adaptability—and nowhere is that more evident than in its Specialist units. Trench Raiders lead brutal assaults clearing bunkers and trenches with grenades, clubs, and sheer ferocity. Torpedo Troopers carry volatile, short-range anti-tractor launchers that can turn even the most fortified enemy positions into rubble. While Pathfinders force ahead of the main body identifying and sometimes neutralizing threats. This hard-plastic box set includes enough parts to build 12 Crusader Specialists with options for trench raiders, pathfinders, H-11a machine gunners, and Splagen torpedo troopers along with 12 Wargames Atlantic Dual-Use 25mm Bases. This Quar's War - Coftyran Chyweethl Tractor
BRING YOUR GUNS AGAINST THE CRUSADER HORDE The first Chyweethls clattered into service in the late 1640s, and some form of the venerable machine has served under the Coftyran Mechanical Corps’ banner ever since. While the modern Chyweethl shares little with its early ancestors beyond its hunched silhouette and signature chained-pedrail system, its lineage is unmistakable. Over 140 years, it has seen seven major revisions and untold minor adjustments - each one a tinkerer’s fingerprint on Coftyr’s armored doctrine. True to Coftyran design philosophy, the Chyweethl eschews a turret entirely, instead channeling its mass into a heavier main gun. This trade-off demands remarkable coordination from its crew; the driver, commander, and gunner must train together tirelessly, as the limited gun traverse means the driver must delicately “steer” shots into place by feathering the throttles. Though the chained-pedrail grants impressive traction and rugged cross-country resilience, it loathes paved roads - just a few miles on smooth stone can chew through the pedrails and scar the track. As a result, redeploying Chyweethl-equipped units over long distances remains a logistical headache - one more quirk in a machine full of them. This hard plastic box set includes two frames with all the parts to build one Chyweethl tractor and crew. A new edition of This Quar's War: Clash of Rhyfles is in the works and will feature new rules to bring your tractors to the battlefield! This Quar's War - Quar Fidwogs
PAF BRAED! “Brotherhood!” It is said amongst the diminuitive quar of Fidwog that the rallying cry of their brave fighters chills the very blood of the Crusaders. Few gave credence to the notion that the naturally smaller quar of this mountain kingdom could give pause to the mighty war machine of the Crusade, much less stop it in its tracks for almost a decade. The apologists of the Iron Regime may blame the rugged topography of Fidwog, but those quar who live among the hills and karst insist their resolution and firm beliefs are stronger than any other quar’s on the planet, and it is this undying faith that holds them apart and allows them to resist the Crusader onsalught. This hard plastic box set includes enough parts to build 12 Fidwogs with options for the Sketych Basic rifle, Bensa F6 automatic rifle, and the M-8c heavy machine gun on the tractor with a variety of heads and extra bits. There are also two Fynrydhad “Centipede” Squad Tractors to add firepower to your squads! 12 Wargames Atlantic Dual-Use 25mm Bases are included. Models require assembly and painting. This Quar's War - Clash of Rhyfles
It seems the Quar have always been at war. When the first wandering clans of insect gatherers built their low, mud-walled buildings, it was as much to keep out other Quar as the wild animals. As they first learned to make tools to get food, they quickly learned to make tools to defend themselves. The mud walls quickly became fortified citadels, and then city-states. In five thousand years of civilization, the only constants of their culture have been the changing of the seasons and the threat of war. Quar are just like you and me - perfectly normal creatures, bereft of magic or supernatural powers or other-worldly technologies. They do eat bugs, though, and lots of them. Most quar, when they’re not fighting each other over slights real or imagined, are farmers, or traders, or merchants. Mostly they live simple, happy lives full of hard work, ale and the occasional overeating of mothcakes. But there are other quar - ambitious, striving quar - for which a mere warm bed and full belly are not enough. These are the ones that scheme, that connive, and their machinations bring whole nations and kingdoms into conflict. Constant conflict, brutal conflict, for the history of Alwyd is written in blood. The Long War is entering a new phase. Gather your weapons, choose your side, and prepare to begin your chapter in the history of this grand conflict. This is a two-player game that features 24 hard plastic Quar (12 Crusaders and 12 Coftyrans), 24 hard plastic dual-use bases, 10 activation cards, 6 D6 dice, and a 48 page rulebook. There is also a selection of cut-out terrain on the box sides to help bring your battlefield to life! Models require assembly and painting. Product contents may vary from photos.

This Quar's War - Quar Fidwog Officers
2 Multi-part Fidwog Officers. Model is-Caertens: Rogo Alski (left) and The Honorable Oylvar du-Gwyber, Viscount Blith (right), in a posed photo taken shortly before the F.O.D. set sail for Creevin. Alski famously came up from the ranks, earning distinction on the Aggor Front before being granted the honor of a personal audience with King Edifys Fedderic III. The king was reportedly charmed by the bluff soldier’s no-nonsense manner and lack of social graces, and promoted him to is-Caerten on the spot. The is-Caerten is a demanding leader, expecting the best from his gaefyn, but his section follows him unhesitatingly, for he leads from the front and takes particular care of their well-being out of combat. Olyvar du-Gwyber is a young scion of the powerful du-Gwyber clan, but despite his lack of years, he has already made a name for himself. During the Tenth Y Bren Cyf Counteroffensive, he rescued no less than eight injured gaefyn while under fire, then led a forlorn hope to destroy a Crusader RR55 field gun in a commanding position. This task accomplished, he carried his wounded crown milwer back to friendly lines, while dragging an uninjured but terrified Crusader rhyfler along for interrogation.

This Quar's War - Quar Fidwog Miners
3x Fidwog Miners “Post Eight reporting! This will be my last transmission! Tell the Syrnol they’ve come from underground! They’re inside our defensive works! Tell my mother tha–” – Last transmission from Caerten Blendeck Smoort during the Fifth Battle of Aggor, 1772 No Fidwogger in the whole of the FOD are more respected, or more deserving of respect, than the Glaeferin. Veterans of the mines and tunnels from long before the Crusade, they have adapted their techniques and responsibilities to answer the threat to their king and country. Above ground, they are fierce soldiers and feared opponents; beneath, they are both legend and nightmare to the enemies of Fidwog. In the last decade, the miners’ Twyrf shotguns have become known as “Fidwog’s Freedom.” Crusaders forced to face the weapon know it by a different name - they have dubbed the 10 gauge, breech-loading shotgun the “First Family”, both for its tremendous noise upon discharge and relative ineffectiveness over long distance. At short range – engaged in tunnel fighting or trench clearing, perhaps – there is absolutely nothing humorous about the Twyrf, or its effects.

This Quar's War - Quar Fidwog Lancers
This pack contains 3 multi-part models KINGLESS TRACTOR CREWS TREMBLE BEFORE F.O.D.’S NEWEST SECRET WEAPON: Once again, the perverted science of the fiendish Crusader is no match for the product of minds united in service to His Majesty, The King. Our new Grafaenk anti-tractor lance cuts through the iron hulls like a hot knife through moth paste and makes a mockery of the Enemy’s vaunted tractor corps, reports from the front say. – Fraedarl Overseas Department Communique A-452, dated 5 Gettlyn 1782 One of the newest weapons in Fidwog’s arsenal is the Grafaenk, an anti-tractor lance with an explosive tip. Recently it has enjoyed reasonable success against Crusader tractors and wagons, especially in close terrain. In open country, however, it is almost totally useless in this age of machine guns and combined arms. While most would weigh even a determined quar versus a tractor as a wholly one-sided affair and dismiss the efficacy of an anti-tractor lance out of hand, the bravado of the average Fidwogger, and the vagaries of terrain, make the whole affair much more open-ended. This Quar's War - Quar Fidwog Fydos
This pack contains 3 multi-part models It’s said that the only time Caenerol Rirch Shoro was seen to weep was when he learned that six fydos had given their lives blunting the initial Easkovite thrust during the Battle of the Aeritini. Fydos have been incorporated into the Fidwogger militaries throughout its history. Fidowggian fydos are particularly robust creatures bred for generations to live and thrive in the mountains of Fidwog. Most Fidwoggian fydos weigh as much, if not more, than the average quar. In the FOD the fydos serve multiple roles. In the infantry they carry medical supplies and equipment and have been trained to respond to the calls of the wounded in the midst of battle without fear. The cavalry units of the FOD deploy them as scouts and trackers as they move through the unfamiliar Creevish countryside. The sapper brigades use them to defend tunnel entrances and the tunnels themselves as the Glaeferin work to undermine enemy positions or to build their own defensive works.

This Quar's War - Quar Crusader Command Specialists
The standard bearer is the heart of the rhyfler company. Standing bravely amid the smoke and chaos of battle the fluttering banner held aloft is a beacon and rallying point for the rhyflers when things get messy. Losing the banner is a disaster that brings shame from one’s Ancestors. But capturing the enemy's flag? Pure glory. Communication between command and soldiers is always difficult. Radios are weak, unreliable, and heavy. Telephone connections require constant splicing and are slower than the general advance. Runners and riders can be picked off by snipers. The Pykpyk squirrel is hard to shoot, can see in the dark, and can easily be trained to run home. As war trends towards the technically complex airships and sophisticated artillery, the humble Pykpyk squirrel is the preferred messenger animal of the army, carrying messages from the front lines to the GHQ
