Lore:Kern skirmishers form the backbone of most Weaver forces. Drawn from the extended kith-bands of the Weaver Courts these skilled warriors, equally deadly with the bow and blade, can take advantage of any opening in the opponent's line, equally comfortable staying back and pelting the enemy with seed tipped arrows or rushing in to exploit the gaps created by the willy Weaver forces. How They Play: The backbone of the Weaver Courts' forces, the Kern Skirmishers unleash volleys of arrows at the enemy, weakening them and applying Seeds that the rest of the Weaver Courts army can exploit!

Lore:Mortals have long argued that it is hard to understand where the Forest ends and the Weavers begins. Crann Guardians are perhaps the clearest embodiment of this. These are not Lifebound Weavers, but rather actual trees awakened by the Whisper, a communal sentience of the Forest forged by those Weavers who voluntarily end their life due to pain, exhaustion or sheer age by interning themselves within its living boughs. Lacking organs and tapping directly into the power of the Faerann, these cumbersome warriors are nigh unstoppable. How they play: Stoic and stalwart, the Crann Guardians - like their tree forest brethren - evolve as the seasons progress. Each season brings an opportunity for growth, but what remains truly unchanged is the Crann Guardians' ability to withstand punishment and weather any storm.

Lunopeth Moths were tamed and bound millennia ago by the Weaver Courts. Long lines of these night flyers have been life-bound to the weavers for so long, they are now an inseparable part of their society. The tangled terrain and verticality of the Weaver Domains lends itself to flying mounts. Their delicate bodies do not lend themselves well to the rigors of combat, but the Weavers have compensated for this, arming their riders with ranged weapons. The Skiathan Riders go to combat armed with cunningly wrought arbalests they can fire while on the wing, harrying the foe without exposing themselves to danger. The Ciannir Riders on the other hand hurl noxious pods of awakened seeds on the foe, equipped to protect themselves from the inevitable fumble as they cast their deadly cargo with the aid of the curved gloves deep into the ranks of the enemy. How they play: Where Sciathan Riders capitalize on Seeds, the Ciannir are the precision tool that applies them. Able to swiftly move behind enemy lines, their strength lies not in the damage their hand-crossbows deal, but in their ability to plant Seeds exactly where they're needed, allowing the rest of the Weaver Courts army to unleash its full potential.

Lore:Loremasters and sages among their kind, the Seanchas Sidhe have accomplished what the Spires can only dream of: channeling the Elemental might of Ea directly as spellcasters. This was amongst the first and greatest of the gifts that the True Dragons heaped upon the Weavers as they sought refuge beneath their wings. Little is known of the rites and rituals these otherwise gregarious characters must undergo to attain this gift, but such is their influence and power that there is never a shortage of young hopefuls eager to set off to the Courts of Winter and Summer where such secrets might be mastered. How they play: As a powerful spellcaster, the Seachas Sidhe can tap into the arcane powers of the Summer or Winter High Courts. In battle, they can consume Seed Markers to empower their spells, bringing a versatile toolkit of support spells and abilities!

Lore:The kith-bands of the Weavers operate on a completely different structure to the formalized and often labyrinthine structure of the Seasonal Courts themselves. Leadership is earned by acclaim, an egalitarian process which has served them well for centuries. Taking their name from the communal abodes of their people, the Sidhe - chieftains- are tasked with the security of their tribe. The Rhun Sidhe are the eyes and ears of their people, chosen from the best woodsmen and marksmen of their tribe and tasked with finding trouble before it finds the band. When they strike, they do so suddenly and fiercely, using their superior knowledge of the land to aid their people in combat. How they play: Embodying the very essence of Autumn, the Mhor Sidhe is a formidable melee combatant. While friendly is not the correct term, the turbulent nature of the Marid allowed for at least some open communication when the Sahar were first encountered deep in the layers of the Azure Tides. Drawn to mortal Gifted with a curiosity they have never bothered to explain, the Marid Sahar will only come to the service of one who has impressed them through magic, either by besting them in a magical duel or showcasing extreme skill in the wielding of Water—for a mortal, at least. How they Play:
Fast and elusive, these aqueous Spellcasters support and synergize with Court of Water Spellcasters, while also casting Spells that further aid in the collection of Ritual Markers.
The Weaver Courts are our unique take on the archetype of the elusive, ranged skirmisher. Unlike traditional ranged units, members of this faction don’t rely solely on firepower to claim victory—instead, they introduce an entirely new combo-building dynamic to the game. For the Weaver Courts, ranged attacks aren’t their primary source of damage. Instead, they serve as powerful enablers, applying statuses to enemy regiments while fast-moving melee allies close in to exploit their foes’ misfortune and complete the combo. Like the planting of a seed, Weaver regiments apply a universal Mark that—depending on Faction Rules, Supremacies, or Spells—can grow into a variety of effects. Plan your round carefully—your strategy has the potential to blossom into success or wither away in failure!

The Paths to Enlightenment are many and varied, but space at the very top is by nature, limited. Yoroni duels are, by nature, highly ritualized affairs. The participants are not merely resolving the quarrel, but establishing who is the more Enlightened, whose Path is superior. While injury and even death are common, the greater danger is to one's Path, for defeat can shake one's confidence, ruining the foundations and casting him back into the Elemental Hells. But the opportunity to test one's conviction and power against a peer and reinforce his Path and standing are few and far in between, so few would turn a duel down. This Diorama, Sculpted by Michael Kontraros, includes 2 miniatures, and all the bases you need to display them on your shelf or the field of battle. The models included can be fielded either as a Daimyo or Oyabun to reflect the myriad paths to Enlightenment that the Yoroni may tread. These are a numbered edition, Founder's Exclusive, run of 1337 units. How They Play: Locked in an epic duel to the end, the two Daimyos clash with unmatched intensity—Earth versus Wind, Chi versus Fu, raw power against agility and precision. This Founder's Exclusive includes two Yoroni Brute Models that can be used either as Daimyos following the Chi and Fu Ideals respectively, or as Kami Ayakashi and Tengu Bushi Modular Regiment Leaders. The Kami in the set can also be fielded as an Oyabun.

Lore:
Every Cathedral, Basilica and place of worship of note in the Old Dominion was built by the forefathers of the Tectons with full awareness on the nature of Divinity and the power of Belief. Deep in the bowels of each of these buildings existed a spark of Divinity, held in abeyance until such time as the Pantheon needed a source of power, or a new Divinity. It was in this vulnerable, embryonic stage that many seeds of Divinity were exposed to the baleful energies of the UnGod after the Fall. Now little more than mewling masses of unrequited necromantic potential, these baleful entities are bound to their places of worship. To overcome this limitation, the Final Creed has learnt to pare away the construction, reducing it in size until the unborn godling trapped within is capable of dragging it. Tapping into its essence with little regard for its own survival the clergy of the pantheon uses the corrupted divine power within these hapless beings to empower its troops with corrupted miracles on the battlefield. How they Play:A twisted pile of the once faithful, the Unhallowed Sepulcher consumes both itself and the essence of others, offering temporary power to itself and those around it. The sepulcher functions as an unholy battery, slowly draining its fuel to empower others or unleash barrages of corrupted energy.

Lore:
Following the Fall and the Theomachy, a number of Fallen Divinities managed to establish their independence from Hazlia, their once powerless husks bathing in the power that floods from the Pyre to regain a small fraction of their previous might. A few, however, have fallen to the relentless aggression of the Final Creed, who see these apostate Divinities as an affront to Hazlia's own standing as the Pantokrator. The members of the Fallen Creed who succeed in laying low one of these fearsome foes is awarded with the title of Theokrator, Master of Divinity, and granted absolute authority over the bound fallen divinity. Reduced by mighty rituals to a weakened corrupted form, these fallen divinities are often brought to battle where their power is drained to empower their Masters, turning them into unstoppable fonts of blasphemous magic and reducing the battlefield to a channel hole. How they Play:This amorphous mass of former believers has been bound to the will of an Archimandrite, carrying them into battle and fueling their blasphemous sorceries. The Fallen Pulpit excels on the front lines, supporting your troops in combat while providing an incredibly tough launch pad for its essential supporting spells.

Lore:Jorogumo are creatures of mystery even among the Yoroni. Some claim them to be kin to the Kitsune and point to their refinement and beauty and power over dreams and song. Others believe them to be Yoroni attuned to Earth and Water; a confluence that creates the para element of poison and explains their exalted nature. Others still believe them to be amongst the most Enlightened of Yoroni, capable of discerning reality for what it really is, a web of dream and illusion woven by Balance to keep Destruction asleep who have allied with the spirits that perform the weaving itself. Whatever the case might be, none can deny their power, whether it be the entrancing performance of the Geisha or the reality altering sorcery of the Mahotsu. None among the Dweghom believed there could be more than one fate to the Deukorro. One returned, or he died. It never occurred to them that some among their number might be so powerful, so driven, as to reach the Prison of war itself. And having reached it, then devoted their lives to protecting it from the ceaseless assault of demonic entities who seek to release their Primordial Master, the Horseman of War. Yet this is precisely what the Lost/Delivered are. Grown strong and powerful on a steady diet of Primordially infused meat, unavoidable Elemental infusion and an endless stream of worthy foes, these indomitable warriors have followed the Ancestors back to the surface, sacrificing a life of Worth and Glory (Aghm) for an obscure goal that they have share with none other. Wading into combat with their bare fists, their stone like hide turns away blades even as their souls blaze with the glory of combat, inspiring the First Born of War to acts of unfathomable ferocity and courage. How They Play:Lost - Living, walking shrines devoted to the very act of consuming war, the Lost ignite the literal fire within the Gifted anatomy of the Dweghom, driving them to horrific acts of savagery and destruction.

Lore:
This Artisan Series release is dedicated to high quality, handcrafted sculpt and resin. When the Dweghom Ancestors broke the prison of War to empower their kin that they might cast off their shackles they knew their efforts would doom them to the same eternal prison the dragons had forged for the Horseman of War. The unprecedented arrival of these mythical heroes amongst the Dweghom populace at large galvanized many and threatened the already delicate balance of Dweghom society further. Seeking to forestall an apocalyptic war that could only result in the destruction of the Dweghom race, these venerated elders have chosen to earn the support of all in the most traditional manner possible: earning Worth and Glory (Aghm) on the battlefield. Even the incredible metal effigues these elders crafted to bypass War's prison cannot long survive the power these Ancestors bring to bear on the battlefield; their physical forms deteriorating even as their spiritual power grows, ultimately consuming the host in an incandescent blast. How They Play:The Ancestor—a projection of those brave enough to venture into the prison of War itself—supports the Dweghom battle lines with powerful Lost/Delivered and Lost/Inflamed, igniting the fire deep within the Dweghom's body and using it to unleash devastation upon the enemy.

How do the Hundred Kingdoms play?
The Hundred Kingdoms cannot claim to have the best troops, but they have damn good troops and they tend to have more of them. Their cavalry is second to none and the intrinsic flexibility of the human mindset means your opponent cannot be certain what he will face: A veteran force of hard bitten infantry supported by powerful casters? A thundering charge led by an impetuous lord that bets everything on the speed of horse and strength of arms? OR The canny and disciplined combined arms approach of a shrewd imperial officer who leverages each of these pieces into a sum greater than the whole?

How do the Dweghom play?
Dweghom armies are slow, tough, and implacable as one might expect of their ancestry. However what truly makes them unique is their magic. With access to fantastic combat magic and defensive spells Dweghom are capable of being an elemental hurricane on the battlefield throwing out walls of fire, slowing enemies down by turning the very earth they stand upon against them. Combined with very powerful, elite infantry and strong specialized non-infantry choices to round out the army, Dweghom players tend to decide where they want to go on the table and relentlessly carve a path there no matter the odds.

We also give you everything you need should you wish to play using The Last Argument of Kings rank and flank style of play. This City States Cohort set includes a Mechanist, 8 Clockwork Hoplites, 8 Agema, 4 Thorakites, 4 Sellinoi, and 4 Sacred Band. 29 models in all along with all bases and stands, Command Cards, Assembly Instructions, Quick Start Guide and Welcome Guide.
How do the City States play?
The forces of the City States consist of a strong core of rigorously trained and drilled soldiers supported by an assortment of hulking Minotaurs, towering spellcasting giants and mechanically enhanced veteran warriors. Although lacking strong missile support and with only one Cavalry option, the infantry core of the City States brings a plethora of troop types, formations and Special Rules to be pound-for-pound one of the most efficient infantry forces in the game. When playing with the City States it is important to protect your vulnerable flanks and engage your Infantry line as soon as possible. Once in combat the Faction’s unique Strategic Stack will allow you to forfeit an Activation in one front to subsequently pressure and Activate twice on another. Finally, you can fine tune the defensive or offensive output of your infantry formations by adding Minotaurs within their formations!

Genya no Yokai walks the path of the Ayakashi, and the world itself shudders at their step. Lacking the refinement of their counterparts, these feral behemoths make up for it in sheer power. Twisting the power and enlightenment to their own selfish needs, these raging colossi are capable of drawing all forms of energy and enlightenment into themselves, feeding their bottomless hunger and rage, making them terrifying foes who know no mercy, no weakness and offer no respite to their beleaguered foes. Greatest among the Yoroni are those who seek to emulate the path of Shuten-doji, the first of their path to walk and master the path of Enlightenment. Each of these brave souls must walk the path of the realms twice, once as a Bushi, seeking enlightenment from the noble ideas of their Path, and another as an Ayakashi, seeking enlightenment through self gratification. While none have yet managed to replicate this legendary achievement, many of the greatest among the Yoroni continue to try this lonely path. Their forms have swelled to accommodate the power their enlightenment affords them even as their corruption and impurities slowly seep from their bodies, further perfecting them as they walk the path towards ultimate enlightenment. How they play:The feral Genya no Yokai, unlike the Dai, draws power from all Ideal Types slowly getting more and more enraged and powerful as more Ideal Type effects are applied to it. Ideal for players who are looking into building Yoroni Army Lists with multiple Ideal Types, the Genya no Yokai makes the most out of Ideal Cards as their effects are not lost at the end of the Round, instead they keep piling up! This monster can play with any of the 5 Ideal Card types. The player selects the Ideal Card that they will use in the game in the beginning from the 5 options. Dual Kit Monster - can also build the Dai.

One of the earliest and most successful applications of Biomancy to the art of War, the Pteraphon were originally developed by the Spires as dragon slayers. The folly of their efforts was revealed when the Elder Dragons awoke and put their efforts to shame, but the Directorate was never known for wasting resources. Refining their efforts they repurposed the suit by eliminating most of its nervous system and turning it instead into a symbiotic "suit" that grants is wearer the power of flight and enhanced senses. Of course the added neural burden of the alien musculature and sensory organs requires unsafe levels of synaptic enhancers which almost invariably leave their unfortunate pilot hosts as wretched, addicted souls. Despite this many consider this a worthy price to pay for the glory of flight and viewpoint of a god. While the bulk and offensive power of the original design was pared down, they were originally designed to combat dragons and as such remain a terrifying weapon of war against all mortal enemies. How they Play:As an aerial observer and ranged support unit, the Pteraphon significantly enhances the Spire player's battlefield awareness. Whether by launching volleys at vulnerable targets deep behind enemy lines or by marking enemy regiments to expose their positions, the Pteraphon serves as your "eye in the sky!"

Few and far in between, Ice Jotnar are the nobility of their kind and the most powerful of the Jotuns. Gifted with an innate mastery over storm and ice, their massive forms are sheathed in heavy ice and rime allowing them to wade into battle unscathed while conjuring jagged shards of ice from thin air to hurl at their foes until they close distance with their hapless foe. Sapped of his strength and vitality by the aura of unnatural cold that wreathes their titanic forms, foes are easy prey to these massive warriors.
This figure was designed by the team at Para-Bellum in keeping with our aesthetic, and then sculpted by renowned artist Michael Kontraros. This is a true artisan series miniature, with incredible details that make it a presence on a game table, or as a painted model.
