Decal Softener The GSW Decal softener is the solution for the application of decals on uneven or rough surfaces.It completely softens the decal to allow it to adapt and be perfectly fixed to the surface of the model in order to avoid the appearance of wrinkles, and in this way, you can obtain perfect results that otherwise would be impossible. Content: 1x 17ml bottle INSTRUCTIONSIf the surface where you want to apply the flat decal is curved, like a shoulder pad, your decal could become wrinkled. To avoid this, once your decal is in place, apply GSW Decal Softener. Let the softener react and it will help remove wrinkles, as it adapts to the curved surface underneath. Repeat this step 2-3 times till wrinkles are removed.Remove any excess with a cotton swab to remove the liquid caught between the decal and the surface. Deze sneldrogende, op waterbasis, verf zorgt tijdens het droogproces ervoor dat je een "gebroken eierschaal" effect krijgt. Gewoon in 1 stap! Opbrengen direct uit het flesje op elke ondergrond. Hierdoor hoef je niet laag-op-laag te werken. Als je het op een extreem gladde ondergrond wilt aanbrengen, is het verstandig om die ondergrond een beetje op te ruwen met bijv schuurpapier. Het qraucelé effect wordt daardoor beter. Je kunt evt voor de zekerheid een matte primer gebruiken onder deze verf als je de ondergrond niet opgeruwd krijgt. Direct aanbrengen met een kwast en het dikte van aanbrengen bepaalt ook de diepte van de scheuren. Laat de verf natuurlijk drogen, luchtdrogend, en probeer het proces niet te versnellen met warmtebronnen. Het effect wordt dan namelijk minder. Als je kleine of onregelmatige basis hebt dan kan het "gebroken eierschaal" effect in diepte of lengte van de scheuren beinvloeden. Als de verf is opgedroogd kun je effect aanbrengen met pigmenten, tufts, static grass of andere verf. Gekleurde verf, 1 fles, 60ml. Gemakkelijk in gebruik door de fles, droogt daardoor niet uit.

Het goede is: je hoeft ze niet te bakken, alleen te laten drogen en daarna kun je ze direct verwerken. Met Green Stuff, dat bijzonder kleverig is, is het het beste om de roller of de klei enigszins te bevochtigen voor je de figuur roller erover heen walst. U kunt ook de kleverigheid verminderen door talkpoeder toe te passen of door een oliebasis als Vaseline te gebruiken.Andere epoxy klei zoals de Milliput putty, bijvoorbeeld, zijn ook geschikt, maar we zouden niet aanraden om ze veel nat te maken. Als het mengsel te plakkerig is, is het beter om door te gaan met kneden totdat de plakkerigheid verdwenen is. Het makkelijkste is om de kwast in de fixer te dopen (gebruik een klein beetje in een eierdopje bijvoorbeeld) en tip dan de pigment aan. Breng aan op het oppervlakte met een beweging zoals je wilt dat de verwering eruit moet komen te zien (streep, rond, omhoog springend, modderspattend etc). Daarna laten drogen. De oorsprongelijke kleur van het pigment komt na het uitdrogen weer terug (nat met fixeer is donkerder). Niet giftige op waterbasis gemaakte pigmentlijm dus ook kindvriendelijk!
