Pure Metal Pigments A new special range of powder pigments, Pure Metal Pigments. They are pigments elaborated from real metals, giving them a high degree of realism. For their application it is recommended to mix them with a small amount of some medium (varnish, paint, pigment fixer, but we especially recommend Master Medium) and apply it by extending it as much as possible onto the surface. An excessive amount of medium can attenuate the metallic effect. An adequate amount of medium will allow the pigments to be airbrushed. They can be mixed with other colors and paints to add variations or hues. They can be used with both acrylic and non-acrylic paints and mediums, and in combination with epoxy resins. They can be also used in combination with accelerating oxidation products to create real oxidation effects. They can be polished after application with something smooth. Deze sneldrogende, op waterbasis, verf zorgt tijdens het droogproces ervoor dat je een "gebroken eierschaal" effect krijgt. Gewoon in 1 stap! Opbrengen direct uit het flesje op elke ondergrond. Hierdoor hoef je niet laag-op-laag te werken. Als je het op een extreem gladde ondergrond wilt aanbrengen, is het verstandig om die ondergrond een beetje op te ruwen met bijv schuurpapier. Het qraucelé effect wordt daardoor beter. Je kunt evt voor de zekerheid een matte primer gebruiken onder deze verf als je de ondergrond niet opgeruwd krijgt. Direct aanbrengen met een kwast en het dikte van aanbrengen bepaalt ook de diepte van de scheuren. Laat de verf natuurlijk drogen, luchtdrogend, en probeer het proces niet te versnellen met warmtebronnen. Het effect wordt dan namelijk minder. Als je kleine of onregelmatige basis hebt dan kan het "gebroken eierschaal" effect in diepte of lengte van de scheuren beinvloeden. Als de verf is opgedroogd kun je effect aanbrengen met pigmenten, tufts, static grass of andere verf. Witte verf, 1 fles, 60ml. Wil je een pad maken op een XPS foam zorg dan voor een goede druk. Klei of epoxy is zacht materiaal waarin je het patroon zonder hard duwen zult zien. XPS foam heeft gewoon meer druk nodig. In het geval van epoxy basis zoals GreenStuff zijn er verschillende technieken die vergelijkbare resultaten opleveren. Het goede is: je hoeft ze niet te bakken, alleen te laten drogen en daarna kun je ze direct verwerken. Met Green Stuff, dat bijzonder kleverig is, is het het beste om de roller enigszins te bevochtigen voor je de figuur roller erover heen walst. U kunt ook de kleverigheid verminderen door talkpoeder toe te passen of door een oliebasis als Vaseline te gebruiken.Andere epoxy klei zoals de Milliput putty, bijvoorbeeld, zijn ook geschikt, maar we zouden niet aanraden om ze veel nat te maken. Als het mengsel te plakkerig is, is het beter om door te gaan met kneden totdat de plakkerigheid verdwenen is. Let er bij het gebruik van het soort klei op de kleefkracht van de gebruikte soort. Sommig materiaal heeft natte vingers nodig om dat te verhelpen. Wil je deze tool gebruiken met GreenStuff dan is het handig om talkpoeder te mengen met water om het materiaal minder aan de tool te laten kleven. Werkt super met polymer klei als Fimo of een klei als DAS. Blijft er materiaal kleven gebruik dan een tandenborstel om goed tussen de naden schoon te maken. Gebruik geen harde borstel of stalen punten want daarmee maak je de platen kapot. Natuurlijke pigmenten voor modelleren zijn bij ons verkrijgbaar in verschillende kleuren. Deze pigmenten zijn breed toepasbaar in de miniatuurwereld. Zo kun je met pigmenten verweringseffecten aanbrengen, waaronder stof, roest, moddervegen, mosstukjes, grondverkleuring of bijv modder maken. Je kunt pigmenten direct gebruiken over het model, diorama, scenery, resin produkten of wargaming terrein met behulp van een pigment fixer of mud effect (acryl pasta) zodat ze prima gefixeerd worden. Deze pigmenten kunnen droog of nat worden aangebracht, afhankelijk van wat u wilt bereiken. Meng ze met elkaar en met onze Acrylic Pigment Fixer of met Mud Effect om ze nat aan te brengen.
