Ozutsu are heavy muskets, verging on being hand-held cannons, that pack a serious punch. Warriors armed with them commonly tied a strap of cloth around the barrel and their wrist to help control the recoil.
They give you a whopping 5 dice on the Damage roll but with less range than a normal musket - 16". In addition they can't move during the Shooting action so you'll need to think ahead exactly where to move them. You can find full details in the Sengoku expansion book.
Upgrade them further with either of the two Trait cards included:
Smoke Clouds represents a particularly sooty batch of gunpowder, providing some handy cover for the rest of the turn after shooting.
Too Much Gunpowder boosts your Damage rolls with an extra dice, at the risk of blowing up and taking out the shooter!

Paint Set - CHROME
Alcohol-based metallic paints allow for achieving an effect that imitates the metallic reflection of a mirror-like chrome surface.
Although it is designed to be used with a brush, it also allows its application with an airbrush, it can be applied on any surface regardless of color, and should always be cleaned with alcohol.
The drying time that can vary depending on the environmental conditions and the thickness of the applied layer, but generally can range between 5 and 30 minutes, so it is recommended to protect the surface during its drying.
The mirror effect could be reduced or even lost if inks or varnishes are added on top.
This paint, when fresh, has the ability to dissolve the same paint already dried underneath, so it is recommended to apply it in a single pass, and on not too-large surfaces.

This set is slightly different to the previous expansions - you can certainly use them together as a complete, and very characterful force, but the individuals are also designed to be added into other forces.Their abilities tend to help the friends around them. For example, the Blacksmith improves everyone's weapons while the Watchman can remove enemy Cautious markers, and of course helps in night battles!

Test of Honour is a skirmish wargame played on a tabletop battlefield, with roughly 10-20 models on each side. Players select their force before each game based around a hero – perhaps a samurai, a masterless ronin, or even a warrior monk – along with one or two loyal companions and a variety of followers, who could be anything from clan soldiers to peasants.
Battles are swift and bloody as players alternate acting with one of their warriors – moving and fighting to achieve the objective of the scenario, whether that be cutting down the enemy, defending an outpost or finding and protecting a spy.
As you play through the battles, your hero will use new skills, and perhaps even take the shameful path of deceit and trickery to gain victory – such choices are the ultimate test of honour.
Captain Hiroji leads his scouting force to patrol the border, and drive off any enemy clan forces.

This set focuses on scouting, stealth and sudden attacks.Captain Hiroji is a master at keeping the enemy off guard, and starts with the Poised for the Attack skill card. His horse tack is functional and unadorned, ready to lead a swift, quiet mission on the borders of clan domains, or perhaps into enemy territory.The Scout Sergeant reading the map helps move up your other Ashigaru (of any type), with an extra boost if they are heading towards an objective.Meanwhile the Runner can carry orders from any characters and sergeants in your force, giving their effects a wider reach!
The Ashigaru Scouts are armed with katanas rather than larger, bulkier weapons, and carry their bed-rolls and portions of rice with them, ready for an extended patrol. Skill cards include Flanking Manoeuvre, Reconnaissance and Hide!
Also in the set are cards for a Mounted Samurai Captain and Mounted Samurai Officer, in case you don't want to use the named character. As well as having different stats to the Mounted Samurai from the Clan Forces pack, these new cards have the Military path icon, so they work perfectly with the skills, trait and quests from the Veteran Ashigaru set.
