Water-Soluble Patina is a partially water-soluble decorative patina designed to create realistic effects of aging, grime, rust, moisture, soot, wear, and tonal variations on miniatures, models, scenery, props, and other non-porous surfaces. Its formula provides an ultra-matte, natural finish and is designed so that the pigments settle organically into crevices, textures, and reliefs, achieving more believable results than those of conventional paint. Additionally, it is a non-toxic acrylic product with no harsh fumes. It is important to shake the product well before each use, as some components may separate and settle at the bottom of the container during storage. If it has been left to stand for a long time, you can use metal balls to mix it thoroughly. Using a wet palette is not recommended. It can be applied directly or diluted slightly with water if necessary. Clean brushes and tools with water or alcohol immediately after use and prevent the product from drying on them. It can also be used with an airbrush to achieve smoother transitions, weathering effects, and large-scale aging effects.
