Enamel type product for modelling. Realist color to make dust effects in vehicles of the Africa Korps, British or even modern. Light tan color is suited to creating dusty accumulations on surfaces.
Apply with a brush or airbrush and then fade with a clean brush moist with Enamel Thinner.
The Clear series of colors is specially designed to make the paint transparent while maintaining the other qualities of the 3GEN acrylic range. This feature makes it especially useful when tinting the translucent parts of our models such as windows, headlights, aircraft canopies, optics, etc.. In this way we can modify the color of these objects while still maintaining their transparency. They can also be used to modify the color of metallic parts or to make glazes to vary the tone of already painted elements. It is a product of universal compatibility, being able to be applied on any type of paint without reacting or damaging the finish of the area where we use it.
The basic label. The orange dot is the element that remarks a range of colors designed for any kind of modeler. The clear and easily identifiable label includes the name of the color and its reference code at the top.
It comes in 17ml bottles.
Metal Color is the innovative range of metallic colors with a water-based formulation, which uses aluminium pigments in its production. The Metal Color range offers a wide range of shades in order to imitate the metallic finish of aircraft of all types and eras. Of exceptional brightness and extraordinary power of reflection, it allows the modeler to carry out the full range of painting techniques without the need to resort to enamels and lacquers.
It can be applied directly to the model using an airbrush or diluted with our Airbrush Thinner or Flow Improver. Metal Color dries very quickly, maintaining the smallest details present on the model and forming a homogeneous and self-leveling layer of extraordinary resistance a few hours after application. Metal Color can be tinted directly in the airbrush cup using colors from the Model Air or Game Air ranges.
It can also be applied with a brush. Recommended compressor settings for our colors are around 15-20 Psi or 0.5-1 kg. It is advisable, in the case of airframes and aircraft model components, to apply Gloss Black Primer, available in 60 ml/2.02 fl oz bottles (ref. 73.660) with hinge cap and dropper, to enhance the special characteristics of the aluminium shades.
Metal Color dries very quickly, but it is advisable to wait 12 hours after application before applying any paint masks.

General Use
Villainy Ink Enamels are oil-based. Thin down, remove & manipulate using mineral spirits.
We recommend our Anti-Death odourless thinner.
Use a vortex mixer and/or mixing beads to shake your paint.
Shake vigorously to ensure paint is well mixed with its binder.
If you haven't used the paints in a while, remove the top and stir the bottom of the bottle with a long, clean stick.
Granulation is intended, for variation & mottling.
If your paint never dries, looks glossy or looks too thin, it needs more shaking or stirring.

Villainy Ink anti-death odourless mineral spirits is a mild solvent for thinning oil- and enamel-based products. Since most of the aromatics have been removed, Anti-Death has no smell. Use varying amounts to thin enamel washes and or oil paints. The bottle contains 108ml of odourless thinner.
