The vampire Deintalos dwells in the darkness of Harrowdeep – a lurking menace eager to snare those who walk its labyrinthine passages. His experiences with the Force Dynamic – the arcano-electric force he believes animates all things – led to his self-imposed exile from Shyish, where his brand of necromancy is taboo. The Black Coaches are funerary carriages from the underworlds. Within these arcane carriages any tangible remains are gathered in a casket that offers a safe haven in which the banished entity can reform. The dormant occupant can feed upon the energies of death, drinking in agony and grief in order to grow strong. On first tasting death, the Black Coach speeds forward before shimmering jets of balefire extend from the wheels, acting like scythes to cut down enemies. When the coach is immersed in sufficient energies it flickers, allowing it to disappear and reappear in more advantageous positions. Onwards it rolls, growing ever more powerful until it becomes a nigh-unstoppable force of death. This multi-part plastic kit contains the components necessary to assemble a Black Coach. Constructed from heavy wooden panels with rivets straining against the ethereal power within, this is a funerary carriage whose drapes are tied back, making a grisly casket within visible; this houses a bound vampire, who can be seen should you choose to model the casket with its lid off. It is a sorrow potent enough to cause a mother to forsake her child, a warrior to lay down his sword and accept the inevitable, to stop a beating heart. This multi-part plastic kit contains the components necessary to assemble Lady Olynder, Mortarch of Grief. As the Mortarch of Grief, she is surrounded by an aura of absolute misery – this miniature does an impressive job of capturing the bleakness. Hovering above the ground in her ghastly bridal dress and veil, little can actually be seen of her form other than the outline of a skull. Her bridal train, ruined and shredded, flows out behind her, with a wisp of this ethereal garment attaching the miniature to its base.
