There are few warriors on any battlefield as terrifying as the chosen priestesses of Death. The deep meditative state they are capable of achieving allows them to elevate their hearing to truly superhuman levels, allowing them to "see" through sound giving them a preternatural advantage on the battlefield. They flow onto the battlefield with a deadly grace, their blindfolded forms weaving and covering one another in perfect synchronicity, the entire regiment fighting as a single organism. Entrusted by the tribes as midwives and healers, their medical training makes them deadly foes on the battlefield, their every blow precisely placed to cause the greatest harm possible, severing tendons, rupturing arteries and locking joints with pinpoint precision as they dance away from their foes' clumsy blows.
How they Play:
The Chosen of Death are the ultimate manifestation of W'adrhun fighting prowess. Their sole purpose is to deliver a flurry of high quality cleaving attacks elevated even further through Death chants.
The vampire Deintalos dwells in the darkness of Harrowdeep – a lurking menace eager to snare those who walk its labyrinthine passages. His experiences with the Force Dynamic – the arcano-electric force he believes animates all things – led to his self-imposed exile from Shyish, where his brand of necromancy is taboo. In Harrowdeep, Deintalos found an ideal place to hide his grisly experiments, aided by his mortal apprentice in necromancy, Marcov. Deintalos animates recovered cadavers with arcane machinery and the Force Dynamic. These Arcwalkers, as Deintalos dubs them, act in eerie unison to tear apart their foes. With their mindless assistance, Deintalos means to dissect every secret of the abyssal labyrinth in which he dwells. The Exiled Dead are aggressive, but flexible enough to keep your opponents on their toes and play for objectives. Once you get your shambling fighters into a good position, they’ll be tough to tackle. To this end, Deintalos has an ability that will keep them all moving, activating multiple Arcwalkers at once. She is Lady Olynder, and in her are bound all the sorrows and anguishes of the realms. Her power transcends the melancholic, for she exudes mind-crippling waves of pure desolation. Mortals in her presence are overwhelmed by a gloom so heavy that only the strongest willed can stay upright. Most fall to their knees, mentally battered by their own utter hopelessness. It is a sorrow potent enough to cause a mother to forsake her child, a warrior to lay down his sword and accept the inevitable, to stop a beating heart.This multi-part plastic kit contains the components necessary to assemble Lady Olynder, Mortarch of Grief. As the Mortarch of Grief, she is surrounded by an aura of absolute misery – this miniature does an impressive job of capturing the bleakness. Hovering above the ground in her ghastly bridal dress and veil, little can actually be seen of her form other than the outline of a skull. Her bridal train, ruined and shredded, flows out behind her, with a wisp of this ethereal garment attaching the miniature to its base.
