How they Play in First Blood
Forming an insensate bulwark, the Penitents of Saint Lazarus bear great macabre shields into battle to lend their leprous hand. Once emplaced, these inevitable warriors of the Orders outlast any foe who oppose the Hundred Kingdoms.
How they Play in TLAoK
Penitents of St Lazarus are an exceptionally durable “anvil” unit, designed to absorb punishment and hold key positions on the battlefield. Their resilience makes them ideal for contesting objectives and forcing the opponent to commit their strongest regiments into combat with them.
They work particularly well alongside cavalry and Order of the Sword, acting as a shield for the rest of the army. By absorbing the enemy’s strongest attacks and tying up powerful enemy regiments, they create perfect opportunities for your other units to counter-charge and deliver the decisive blow.
A reliable defensive anchor with strong tactical utility, Penitents of St Lazarus give the 100 Kingdoms army the staying power it needs to control the battlefield and dictate where the most important engagements take place.
