Konflikt '47 US 'Slammer' Samuels, The First Paragon
The story of ‘Slammer’ Samuels’ ascent through the ranks of the US Army and eventual evolution to become the first Paragon is known across the United States. Enlisting the day after Pearl Harbor, Harris Samuels quickly established himself as a natural soldier and leader. Having impressed his drill sergeants and coming to the notice of several influential officers, Samuels was fast-tracked to the fledgling 1st Ranger Battalion and was one of fifty specially selected Rangers dispersed amongst the British Commandos for the Dieppe Raid in August 1942. In this action he became one of the first American soldiers to see ground combat in the European theatre. Winning the Silver Star for single-handedly taking out a German Tiger Tank in Tunisia, Samuels was later promoted to the rank of captain just prior to the D-Day invasion. Badly wounded on Omaha beach he was transferred back to the USA for treatment, and presented with the opportunity to volunteer for a radical new treatment, one only made possible by the advent of the Los Alamos Rift, that would irrevocably alter his biology. Being a true American of fine character, and recognising the potential of the program to shift the balance of power in favour of the United States, Harris readily accepted the risks and became the first subject of the new program. Samuels would, following a long and arduous process, become the program’s first success; his physical transformation was to become a benchmark; a paragon of the potential of humanity. He quickly adapted to the prototype Rift-tech weaponry provided to him, so much so that he was issued with the first experimental heavy Tesla rifle which he insisted on field testing back on the European mainland. In combat Samuels revels in close quarters fighting where he puts his signature weapon, the Tesla Gauntlet, to good use. Combining a pneumatic punch with a Tesla discharge, the glove allows him to take down even armoured or inhuman opponents he faces. Box contains one plastic miniature, supplied with plastic base. Miniature sculpted by Marco Sano. Studio miniature painted by Kirsten Williams.

Konflikt '47 Japan Kimura Tadaaki, Scourge of the Spirit Realm
Until late-1946 Kimura Tadaaki had been a test pilot for the Imperial Japanese Army, specialising in armoured walkers. He would seemingly be killed when a prototype’s ghost engine exploded, engulfing him in Rift energy. Rather than become just another unfortunate victim of phasing experimentation, Kimura miraculously survived, but would become something far beyond human. Kimura had been thrown into Shinobi space, far from human perception, infused with energies that resonated with the place in which he found himself. Though he yearned for death, it would not come, having seemingly developed an imperviousness to physical harm. He also found he had developed the ability to partially manipulate the energies within him, such as to project it with force, or create and control energy constructs. Over the first half of 1947, Kimura would train with Iwo Jima-based philosopher-scientists to gain mastery of his new abilities. They also fashioned a unique armour for him, serving two roles; to help him contain the rampant energies swirling within him, and as a morale-boosting reminder of samurai traditions for the ghosts he serves beside. Box contains four plastic miniatures (Kimura Tadaaki with three Shinobi Shadows) supplied with plastic bases. Miniatures sculpted by Marco Sano. Studio miniatures painted by Kirsten Williams. Models supplied unassembled and unpainted

Konflikt '47 Japan Ghost Infiltration Platoon (plastic)
Since their first deployment against United States forces in the Philippines in late 1945, the 'Ghosts' have proven invaluable. Their ability to phase into a state of existence separate yet parallel to our own has stymied enemy commanders. They can strike from anywhere, at anytime and without warning, laying down weight of fire with Shiboru compression rifles or spilling blood with the quick flash of a blade before disappearing into what Japanese researchers have come to call 'Shinobi Space', or 'the Spirit Realm'. In July 1947, Ghost Infiltration platoons would be the instrument of the Empire of Japan's invasion of America. Accompanying them would be Kimura Tadaaki, otherwise known as the Scourge of the Spirit Realm, ready to wreak devastation in service the Empire. This boxed set contains the following: 1x plastic Kimura Tadaaki, Scourge of the Spirit Realm 3x plastic Shinobi Shadows 25x plastic Ghost Attack Infantry Plastic Bases Assembly guides Miniatures sculpted by Marco Sano. Konflikt '47 Japan Ghost Attack Infantry (plastic)
Imperial Japanese scientists have created devices that generate a field capable of temporarily phasing objects or people out of sync with the world around them. These 'Ghosts' have proven adept at surprising enemy forces, literally appearing from nowhere to attack from unlikely directions or through the heaviest terrain. Ghost Attack Squads are typically armed with Shiboru compression rifles; a squad of so-equipped ambushing ghosts can lay down a significant weight of fire before vanishing back into dense terrain, making attempts at pursuit futile. Some squads are close quarters specialists, and carry submachine guns or traditional hand-to-hand weapons that evoke the samurai of old, but in reality practise a brutal new form of ninjutsu. Box contains fifteen plastic miniatures, which can be assembled as either Ghost Attack Squads or Shadow Warrior Squads, supplied with plastic bases. Miniatures sculpted by Marco Sano. Studio miniatures painted by Kirsten Williams. Models supplied unassembled and unpainted

Konflikt '47 British B for Bertie British Automated Infantry Hero
Built at the English Electric Works in Preston, ‘B for Bertie’ came off the production line just like any other Mk I automaton. However, it was during its initial deployment as part of Operation Cavalier, near Antwerp, Belgium, that it could be said that Bertie was born. On 9 June 1946, a contingent of Axis heavy Panzermechs ambushed Bertie's formation. In the chaos of battle; Bertie was lost to sight from its human charges. When the ambush had been repelled, after significant losses, and the Axis forces melted away, so too had Bertie disappeared. The unit was presumed KIA, but this was not so. Low on power, Bertie had sluggishly dragged itself back to the battlefield, but its detachment had long since moved on. Rather than simply wither away patiently, its primitive automated system adapted, and Bertie became something other than a simple factory-made automaton. Looting the battlefield of fallen automatons, it replaced its defunct leg, collected power cells, took ammo and weapons, and set off on a new odyssey. Box contains one plastic miniature, supplied with plastic base and assembly guide.

Konflikt '47 British MK IIC Automated Director
The advanced research into automated systems has yielded results at an entirely unexpected rate, such that production is hardly able to keep pace with new designs coming out of Bletchley Park. In less than a year from the first deployment of Mk I Automated Infantry in Belgium, entirely automated platoons are now increasingly independently organised and commanded by automated platoon commanders. These ‘Automated Directors’ are based on the Mk II Design, with improved computational and radio systems enabling them to distribute orders to other automated units over a wider radius. The advantages of fully automated platoons are numerous; the avoidance of British human casualties and immunity to ever more deleterious psychological effects on the battlefields amongst them. However, Automated Directors lack the imagination of human commanders, and are somewhat limited to enacting the tactics and orders pre-programmed into their systems prior to battle by dedicated British engineers. Box contains one plastic miniature, supplied with plastic base and assembly guide.

Konflikt '47 British Automated Infantry Platoon
The humble British infantryman is being increasingly supplanted by the Automated Infantrymen. These stolid, code-driven mechanical soldiers can be slow to adapt on the battlefield, but are utterly implacable in advance and resolute in defence. As the war drags on, the boffins at Bletchley park are churning out ever more sophisticated designs, capable of executing increasingly complex battlefield orders, and wielding equally more complex and heavier weapons, turning the tide against Axis horrors. Such is the rate of advancement of automated research that dedicated automated platoons are now being deployed to the battlefields, devoid of any human presence, and able to carry out prescribed orders entirely independently. This boxed set contains the following: 1x plastic Mk II C Automated Director 10x plastic Mk I Automated Infantry 2x plastic Mk II Heavy Automated Infantry Plastic Bases Assembly guides

Konflikt '47 British MK I Automated Infantry
Created from a fusion of Rift-tech advancements and early artificial intelligence principles, these man-shaped fighting machines are designed to bring both firepower and resilience to the battlefield. Multiple internal programme wheels allow them to support human forces in a variety of battlefield situations, operating effectively in any terrain or climate. While they lack the manoeuvrability of human soldiers their robust construction allows them to withstand considerable damage. Equipped with Medium or Heavy Machine Guns, they can engage enemies with significant firepower, although their limited computational power necessitates their instructions be simple, and operations swift. Most importantly, on the horror-haunted battlefields of this war these automatons are immune to fear and fatigue. While initially treated with distrust by regular soldiers, the ‘Tinheads' have now earned their respect, especially when facing the enemy’s genetically altered monstrosities. Box contains 10 plastic miniatures, which can be equipped with either MMGs or HMGs; supplied with plastic bases and assembly guide.

Konflikt '47 British MK II Heavy Automated Infantry Squad
A new iteration of automated infantry now supports the more numerous, and vastly cheaper to produce, Mk Is. By necessity larger in order to house more sophisticated computational systems, they are also rendered capable of carrying far heavier armaments, such as specially designed automatic cannons. Capable of acting with more autonomy than the earlier designs, they have a limited operational independence. With their embedded short-range radio device, they are also able to transmit their computational data to other automatons within a limited range. Efforts were quickly made to upgrade the Mk I design with receivers. By staying within close proximity the MK IIs can relay their own calculations to the Mk Is, and thus improve their accuracy and ability to execute more complex commands. Box contains 4 plastic miniatures with 2 Light Automatic Cannons, 2 Heavy Automatic Cannons, and 2 M21 Light Tesla Cannons. 2 of the bodies have Tesla capacitors and fittings for the power cable - these can be assembled with any of the weapons supplied. Konflikt '47 Firefly Hero Roberta Wells
A graduate in physics, the emergence of the Los Alamos Rift at the Trinity test site led to Roberta dedicating herself to the study of Rift Energy. The deployment of Axis Rift horrors, in particular the dread Totenkorps, in late 1944, led to her volunteering to ship out to the European theatre to conduct studies of the application of Rift-tech in warfare. Despite numerous objections from the US Army, her request was eventually granted. Her no-nonsense approach, resilience to the psychological horrors of the Rift War, and willingness to get stuck in marked her out amongst the raft of scientific advisors seconded to the front. Exhibiting a fierce independence, Roberta would often strike out separately from the squad to which she was attached, lest they constrain her in the pursuit of her studies. Nevertheless, she gradually earned the respect of the US Army soldiers entrusted with her safety in the field, having displayed a remarkable aptitude for combat situations. Roberta is considered the United States’ best hope in assessing the Dresden Rift in the goal of safely controlling or neutralising it, and has returned to the front line in 1947, attached to 109th Airborne Division bound for Dresden. As a high value asset, she has been granted the use of prototype armour designed specifically for use with the Firefly jump pack. Of course she has already begun to make her own modifications… Box contains one Warlord Resin miniature, with plastic base. Models supplied unassembled and unpainted

Konflikt '47 Axis Der Erntemann' Oberstartz Albrecht von Zogling
Albrecht von Zögling is the Axis’ custodian of the Totenkorps programme, and a long-term member of the Grünes Gewölbe. His obsession with the dead led to years spent studying the texts of the Green Vault’s library, and visiting sites of battle or massacre whenever he could, where he would collect corpses to experiment on, earning him the whispered moniker of ‘Der Erntemann’ or ‘The Harvestman’. On 12 March 1944, the bomb was dropped on Dresden, and von Zögling’s dreams were fully realised. Approximately half a million dead now wandered its ruins, and a seemingly perpetual source of Rift Energy was now available to him. The secrets of the Rift have provided von Zögling with the means of reanimating the dead on a scale even undreamt of by him, and he soon developed the serum that would supplant the crude power packs initially used to reanimate the recently deceased, one that could be injected directly into a corpse and have it walking again in mere seconds. Unlike many of his understudies, von Zögling is not content to sit back and observe the fruits of his labour from a distance, and makes it a habit to stalk battlefields in search of prime material for further experimentation. Ever concerned with the effects of wounds upon the human anatomy, he has become quite adept at inflicting them himself, having trained himself over the years to become a proficient marksman, and equally skilled with a blade, and whenever the opportunity presents itself, he will personally lead his personal Totenrotte to witness the glories of his creations in action, wearing a personalised battle harness sufficient to carry an array of medical gear, as well as a supply of serum to augment his Totenkorps legions on the fly. Konflikt '47 Axis Nachtzehrer Sd.Kfz. 501/1
The development of a new serum solution by the enigmatic Oberstarzt Albrecht von Zögling, also required the development of a machine to effectively distribute it amongst the freshly dead. The ultimate design, dubbed the Nachtzehrer (named after the creatures of folklore; revenants said to drag the living to the realm of death), is reminiscent of a hermit crab; it consists of a small crew compartment within which scientists can operate external instruments without exposure, married to an armoured, temperature-controlled canister which houses the highly volatile serum. Large, bladelike forearms inject the serum directly into subject corpses with abject efficiency, and are themselves equally capable of striking down the living, to immediately convert into the walking dead. This plastic kit also allows you to make the Sd.Kfz.501/4 Infernospinne, which trades the serum housed in its cannister for napalm, and its medical implements for powerful flamethrowers, more potent than its Flammenspinne cousin, though slightly les nimble and somewhat more volatile. Box contains one plastic Sd.Kfz. 501/1 Nachtzehrer, Vehicle decal sheet, MDF base, and assembly guide. Miniatures sculpted by Jon Heeney. Studio Miniatures painted by Darek Wyrozebski. Konflikt '47 Axis Totenkorps Horde
The Totenkorps were the first examples of Rift-derived forces encountered by the Allies and Soviets. Immune to pain and fear, they swamp their foes through sheer relentlessness and inhuman resilience. As such the Totenkorps are mostly employed as terror troops, soaking up enemy fire before closing and engaging in brutal close quarters combat. Even defeated Totenkorps can rise again, potentially many times, before being finally laid to rest. Their decayed forms invariably spread fear on the battlefield, making them a profound threat to even the most hardened enemy combatants. The initial Totenkorps originated from the dead caught in the vicinity of the opening of the Dresden Rift. In the years since, enigmatic Axis scientist Albrecht von Zögling has perfected a process to replicate the effects on the freshly deceased, and developed the Sd.Kfz. Nachtzehrer, a terrifying machine that can apply his serum to the dead of the enemy on the battlefield itself, so that be immediately employed against their erstwhile allies. The plastic Totenkorps sprue features reanimated soldiers in varying types of uniform taken from the dead of both the Axis and the United States, including a US Firefly and an Axis Schwertruppen! Box contains enough parts to make 30 plastic Totenkorps, plastic bases, and assembly guide. Models supplied unassembled and unpainted

Konflikt '47 Festung Europe Hardback
Stalemate. Since the opening of the Dresden Rift, new and unspeakable horrors have poured forth from the heart of the newly emergent Neu Republik. The Allied plan to end hostilities in Europe is in tatters. The world now pays the price of their failure. Technological development, already in overdrive in the fever of war, has escalated further due to the power of the Rifts. Weapons of unprecedented destructive capacity are being deployed with increasing frequency by all the belligerent nations, leaving Europe in utter ruin and no-one able to gain an upper hand. It is now beyond any doubt - control of the Rifts is the path to victory. Dresden is the heart of Axis power, the heart of Festung Europa. Festung Europa is the first in a series of supplements for Konflikt ’47 detailing the background, history, and characters of the Rift War. This volume is centred on the European theatre, and the concerted effort of the British-US alliance, and the Soviet Bloc, to oust control of the Dresden Rift from the Axis. Within its full-colour pages, rife with glorious photography, artwork, and illustrations, you’ll find timelines, short stories, game scenarios, and more. New miniatures will be released alongside each supplement, representing the heroes, horrors, monsters, and mechs, described in its pages.

Konflikt '47 Axis Totenrotte Starter Army
A Totenrotte is an Axis military formation comprised of the walking dead. Initially the Totenrotten had the simple directive of deploying Totenkorps amongst enemy lines, sowing physical and psychological chaos amongst the enemy throughout Europe. However, with newly emergent technology originating from the minds of Axis scientists, led by the research of Albrecht von Zögling, which replicates the effects of the Dresden Rift on the newly dead, the operations of the Totenrotten have greatly expanded in a sinister new direction – recruitment. The Totenrotten now incorporate the Sd.Kfz. 501/1 Nachtzehrer, armoured walkers which can apply von Zögling’s serum on the battlefield itself, and immediately redeploy the newly dead against their former comrades in arms. This starter army contains the following: 1x Totenrotte Platoon Commander with Bodyguards (3 Warlord Resin Miniatures) 45x plastic Totenkorps miniatures 2x Sd.Kfz. 501/1 Nachtzehrer (can also be assembled as Sd.Kfz 501/4 Infernospinne) MDF and Plastic Bases Assembly guides 8 x Grey Rift Dice 8 x Grey Order dice with black engravings Models supplied unassembled and unpainted

Konflikt '47 Axis Nachtalben Squad with StG 44Z
The Nachtalben are one result of human test subjects being exposed to Rift energy, warping them grotesquely whilst leaving them with all their cognitive faculties. Terrifyingly, this means that the test subjects were more than likely voluntary, given their continuing proclivity to military discipline. They are unnaturally fast, with heightened reflexes and unlike other Axis Rift troops carry weapons and fight more like conventional infantry, though they have displayed a limited ability to temporarily shape-shift. As such, Nachtalben specialize in infiltration, ambushes, disrupting enemy lines under the cover of darkness, and moving through tough terrain with unnatural ease. Konflikt '47 Japan Type 7 Sasori Light Walker
The success of the Type 6 armed with the Light Shiboru Cannon led to the development of the Type 7. This improved on the previous design by incorporating an elongated chassis, leaving the crew less cramped, and a pair of front-mounted ‘claws’ equally useful for cutting through dense undergrowth as they are swatting away enemy infantry or even other light vehicles. An articulated tail purpose built for the Type 61 Light Shiboru Cannon was also fitted, affording the gunner much more control when gun laying. Given the Type 7’s even more apparent resemblance to an arachnid than its forerunner, and the addition of the tail sting, this inevitably resulted in the walker being named the Sasori (‘Scorpion’). Konflikt '47 Japan Type 97-Kai Shiboru Chi-Ha Light Tank
Shocked by their first encounters with Allied Matilda, Lee, and Sherman tanks, the Chi-Nu medium tank represented Japan’s attempts to modernise their armoured forces during a period of intense conflict and rapid technological advancement. It was armed with a Type 3 75mm tank gun, capable of engaging Allied tanks more effectively. Additionally, the Chi-Nu had improved armour compared to its predecessors, with a frontal armour thickness of up to 50 mm. Its engine also proved powerful enough to give the Chi-Nu good mobility. Based on the experience with fitting Rift weaponry to the Chi-Ha, a variant of the Chi-Nu mounts the Type 99 Shiboru cannon. Contains one resin and plastic tank. Konflikt '47 Japan Assault-Frame Armoured Infantry Squad
Japanese 'Assault-frame' armour was based on the earlier 'battle-frames' in response to demands for a modified frame specially adapted for closequarters fighting. 'Assault-frame' squads are armed with weapons geared towards close range, mounting an SMG and close combat blade forged with a hardened compound derived from Rift-science, which the soldiers take pride in mastering to a fearsome level of proficiency. These soldiers are lethal at close quarters, providing a much needed melee punch to Japanese forces. Contains 5 Warlord Resin miniatures. Models supplied unassembled and unpainted

Konflikt '47 British Percival Medium Assault Walker
Once the United States Armed forces had received the M8 Grizzly medium walker in sufficient numbers, excess production was diverted to the Commonwealth under the lend-lease scheme. By this time, research into equipping Commonwealth vehicles, including walkers, with automated assistance systems was well underway. Rather than being pressed into service, the entire shipment was diverted to Bovington for study. The Commonwealth had become nervous that relying entirely on the US to provide walkers left it too dependent on a foreign supplier, particularly with the growing cracks in the two nations' relationship. It was therefore urgent for the Commonwealth to be able to design and build its own examples. The result was the Percival, a distinct design from the Grizzly, owing to the need to incorporate the latest automated systems and a sufficient power plant for the Commonwealth’s new iteration of the Tesla cannon. Konflikt '47 Japan Inago Medium Walker (2025)
The deployment of USMC Grizzly medium walkers to the Pacific posed a serious tactical problem for the Japanese. Developing a similar medium walker to counter it entirely from scratch would be too time-consuming. Again, the Imperial leadership turned to their (then) Axis allies who offered to export a limited number of the Pz.Kpfg. VII Heuschrecke stripped of its gravitic jump assist modules. On inspection of the first units to arrive in Japan the Imperial military discovered that the missing weight of the modules actually benefited the walker’s speed and agility, making it ideal for both general combat and reconnaissance duties. Recently, Japanese reverse-engineering of Axis-supplied components has allowed a fully Imperial-built version of the Locust, the ‘Inago’, to be produced in the Home islands. Konflikt '47 Soviet Mahmot Heavy Walker(2025)
Despite the successes of the Kazak light walker, Soviet forces experienced significant losses from every encounter with Axis heavy Panzer walkers. A swift countermeasure was necessary. The OKMO design bureau at the Bolshevik Factory in Leningrad was assigned the task of developing Objekt 231. a heavy multi-legged walker chassis derived from the Axis' Thor. Rather than opting for the Axis' complex sixlegged designs or the Allies' technically challenging biped configurations, OKMO produced a more straightforward and reliable quadruped chassis. Originally conceived as a mobile bunker, the designers revisited a multi-turret concept from OKMO’s titanic 1930s T-35 tank. Contains one resin and metal miniature. Models supplied unassembled and unpainted

Konflikt '47 British Merlin Heavy Walker (2025)
The Merlin represents the pinnacle of Commonwealth walker design by complementing its human crews with an onboard automated management 'brain' called Guinevere. In addition to its two fists, the Merlin utilises a 3” anti-tank gun as its main weapon. Arm mounted twin .50cal heavy machine guns and a hull-mounted medium machine gun are effective for dealing with infantry and light vehicles. However, it is the Guinevere automatic brain that makes the Merlin unique. It assists the crew in performing routine and mundane tasks operating the walker, but in battle it really comes into its own. The Merlin incorporates several complex self-repair systems controlled by Guinevere. Reacting faster than any human, it responds to damaging hits by activating backup systems, rerouting power or hydraulics and extinguishing fires before they can spread. Should the crew become temporarily incapacitated Guinevere can even pilot the walker for a short time. The Merlin is a truly remarkable design that has taken Allied walker capabilities to a new level. Contains one resin and metal miniature. Models supplied unassembled and unpainted
