M4A9-T Sherman with Tesla Gun As US scientists struggled to perfect the first weaponised application of Rift-tech knowledge, much effort was devoted to an enhanced weapon capable of defeating heavy German and Soviet armoured vehicles. After much trial and error, the Tesla Cannon was fielded on a standard Sherman M4A3 chassis to great effect. Contains: 1 resin M17 Tessla turret and 1 plastic M4 Sherman.

Firstly, its vast manpower allowed it to absorb the initial shock of the Axis assault, and secondly the Soviet genius for intelligence allowed it to reverse engineer walkers, power armour and their own unique approach to bioengineering, as well as their own Rift weaponry that utilises cataclysmic harmonics. Ursus Infantry The Soviets developed a weapon utilising Ursine DNA to create an 8ft tall man/bear hybrid that could go toe-to toe with any enhanced infantry on the battlefields of 1947. Powerful, but lacking control, the Ursus soldiers were often unleashed in highly contested areas of the battlefield to tip the balance of favour towards the Soviet army. In Konflikt '47 The Ursus are nearly unbeatable in combat, both tough and strong, they'll be able to hack down any enemy troops foolish enough to stand in their way. Give them supporting fire so they can advance unhindered or use a transport (a standard truck can carry 5 Ursus infantry) as an ideal way of getting this death squad in amongst the enemy front line. T34/ZP The T-34 was one of the best medium tanks pre-rift but now as most of them lie in ruins, the need for the armour symbol of Stalin has made a return. Using the ever so reliable chassis of T-34, rift scientists outfitted a new breed of tank by creating the Zvukovoy Proeyektor. Blasting entire platoons on sight the T-34/ZP with its shockwave ensures it remains the ruler of the medium tank class.

M5A5 Jackal Light Walker Evolving as a dedicated light support walker for Airborne troops, the Jackal combines manoeuvrability and reliability with a powerful set of repulsorlifts, enabling it to quickly redeploy across the battlefield. Lightly armed but able to get to where it’s needed, US troops greatly appreciate the Jackal in tough situations.

M5A2 Coyote Light Walker One of the original US walker designs, the Coyote bridges the gap between infantry heavy armour technology and larger walkers. Compact and mobile, and carrying a decent anti-infantry armament, these one-man vehicles are frequently used by US and Commonwealth troops in urban fighting. The Commonwealth Guardian variant is particularly specialised for this purpose, carrying a lethal flamethrower for use against dug-in enemies.

Allied Grizzly Medium Walker M8 Grizzly Medium Assault Walker the first truly practical walker designed using Rift technology; the Grizzly is a watchword in rugged and practical design. Armed with the proven 75mm gun and a .50 HMG, the Grizzly is versatile and adaptable. More useful are perhaps the powerful arms that can smash tanks and clear obstacles. Well-liked by its crews, the Grizzly is considered a better infantry support option than the Sherman, particularly in urban environments where it can carry out improvised route clearance and help build defensive obstacles. The 75mm gun was chosen ahead of the 76mm for its improved HE round, often the most heavily used ammunition in an engagement. Despite their early reliance on knowledge of the Rift shared by the Axis, the Empire of Japan has managed to develop a unique approach to exploiting this new technology. With the ability to field basic infantry armed with Rift weaponry, supported by armoured troops and walkers, plus “Ghost” troops that can phase in and out of reality, armies of the Empire of Japan are a terrifying foe to face on the battlefield. Chi-Ha with Compression Cannon   As the war in the Pacific has progressed, Japanese tank design has struggled to make gains against their adversaries. However, the application of proven rift-tech compression weapons within a heavier and better designed turret has delivered an effective medium tank based on the Chi-Nu, itself an upgrade of the Type-97 Chi-Ha. The Chi-Nu’s Improvements to the Chi-Ha’s chassis and engine, with heavier armour, and a heavier compression cannon have combined to produce a reliable, dangerous, and mobile medium tank. Whilst able to out-perform the older US tanks and most of the older Russian designs in use on mainland China, the Type 3-Hebi still lacks the capabilities of the latest generations of heavier tank but probably represents the limits of this particular chassis. Having only reached the battlefield in 1947, the tank has made an immediate impact on the frontlines stretching across the Chinese mainland. Its use against US and Commonwealth forces in the wider Pacific has yet to be significant and it remains to be seen how it will fair in these terrains that are notoriously tough on armoured vehicles. Regardless, the ability of the compression cannon to literally rip apart medium vehicles will lead to concern to Allied commanders. Another positive of building on the existing Chi-Ha chassis has been the relatively simple manufacturing switch in Japan’s armaments factories. This should see steady production numbers and result in the tank becoming the mainstay of IJA armoured formations for years to come.
