Metal Color is the innovative range of metallic colors with a water-based formulation, which uses aluminium pigments in its production. The Metal Color range offers a wide range of shades in order to imitate the metallic finish of aircraft of all types and eras. Of exceptional brightness and extraordinary power of reflection, it allows the modeler to carry out the full range of painting techniques without the need to resort to enamels and lacquers. It can be applied directly to the model using an airbrush or diluted with our Airbrush Thinner or Flow Improver. Metal Color dries very quickly, maintaining the smallest details present on the model and forming a homogeneous and self-leveling layer of extraordinary resistance a few hours after application. Metal Color can be tinted directly in the airbrush cup using colors from the Model Air or Game Air ranges. It can also be applied with a brush. Recommended compressor settings for our colors are around 15-20 Psi or 0.5-1 kg. It is advisable, in the case of airframes and aircraft model components, to apply Gloss Black Primer, available in 60 ml/2.02 fl oz bottles (ref. 73.660) with hinge cap and dropper, to enhance the special characteristics of the aluminium shades. In his day, Alophangus Playdge was a famed explorer and Artefacter. Few in Ulaya are as well travelled, have seen as much, and know as much about the world as Playdge. Some say he could have risen right to the top of the Artefacters, but instead, with age, he retired from his adventuring and settled down at the Obelisk Research Facility, where he works on reviving old computer databases, and learning as much as he can about the world of the Builders. But the wanderlust has not disappeared completely. From time to time he leaves his assistants and researchers, and goes out in to the field himself, leading a band of Artefacters on a mission… probably of his choosing. He can be seen wearing several prized pieces of ancient technology- an exo-suit, and a blink field. The exosuit allows him full and free movement and athleticism, despite his advanced age, while the blink device allows him to disappear and re-appear a few steps away… when it is in good working order, that is! While he clearly loves both research and field-work, rumours are abound that Playdge is a senior member of the Order of the New Enlightenment, but he, naturally, denies it.  A dedicated, and inexpensive, support piece. Lakassk, Firm Mech Firm Lakassk, Firm Mech. Sorrian Male. How Lakassk ended up with the “misfit crew” is a question he constantly asks himself. By the standards of the rest of them, he’s actually quite sane. It’s probable that, considering their reckless nature, Lakassk was seen as a tactical necessity: His Nova Cannon is certainly not the most subtle of weapons, but it’s definitely a useful one. Firing flash-bang grenades, Lakassk is capable of shoring up even the most reckless of charges with a covering fire: and considering the Firm’s general eschewing of heavy armour, that’s a boon indeed. Not, of course, that Kaneda has any awareness of this fact whatsoever. As usual his arrogant self-obsession means he gives Lakassk no credit for saving his over-privileged behind time and time again. This fact grates on Lakassk about as much as one could expect, but it is Lissz’ appreciation he truly craves. There too, unfortunately, he is unappreciated. Lissz is stealthy enough not to need his protection, although sensible enough to recognise his important role within the crew. Whether she notices and ignores his romantic advances, or is oblivious to them, is something Lakassk spends far too much time thinking about. Resin Cast Frames Large with spring clips Resin Cast Frames are designed to facilitate the creation of multiple mold boxes for resins and silicones. Manufactured in a 5mm solid transparent methacrylate material, and features L-shaped sides for added structural integrity. Includes four spring clips, which play a crucial role in securely holding each frame in position. It can be utilized repeatedly, making it an economical alternative to continually buying or constructing separate mold boxes. They can be configured in various ways to create molds with diverse dimensions and shapes without the need for investing in an array of mold boxes. These molds greatly facilitate the mold box assembly process but do not completely seal the joints, so to prevent any resin from leaking out during the molding process, the usual joint sealing process should be carried out. Instructions for use Make sure the area is completely free of imperfections and dirt before starting. Position the frames so that the L-shaped matches the overlap of the next frame. If using a release agent, note that the resin walls may not be completely smooth. Place the spring clips on the L-shaped joints to secure the position. To ensure a tight seal both between the frames and with the base, any remaining gaps should be filled with modeling clay to prevent resins, silicone, or casting compound from running out. Any gaps may cause leaks. Pour resin evenly over the surface. After the recommended curing time, first remove the spring clips carefully and then the frames firmly. The Metal Color range offers a wide range of shades in order to imitate the metallic finish of aircraft of all types and eras. Of exceptional brightness and extraordinary power of reflection, it allows the modeler to carry out the full range of painting techniques without the need to resort to enamels and lacquers. It can be applied directly to the model using an airbrush or diluted with our Airbrush Thinner or Flow Improver. Metal Color dries very quickly, maintaining the smallest details present on the model and forming a homogeneous and self-leveling layer of extraordinary resistance a few hours after application. Metal Color can be tinted directly in the airbrush cup using colors from the Model Air or Game Air ranges. It can also be applied with a brush. Recommended compressor settings for our colors are around 15-20 Psi or 0.5-1 kg. It is advisable, in the case of airframes and aircraft model components, to apply Gloss Black Primer, available in 60 ml/2.02 fl oz bottles (ref. 73.660) with hinge cap and dropper, to enhance the special characteristics of the aluminium shades. Metal Color dries very quickly, but it is advisable to wait 12 hours after application before applying any paint masks. Game Wash is the range of colors for wash effects and techniques on figures, which can also be used on other surfaces. It is presented with a new formulation that enhances the capillary properties of the product. A wash is a transparent and very liquid acrylic color, mainly used for shading techniques on figures and vehicles, as well as for creating glazing and filter effects over other colors in the range. How to use: Apply with a brush, it can also be used with an airbrush. Packaging: Game Color Wash is presented in bottles of 18 ml/0.6 fl oz with eyedropper. This packaging prevents the paint from evaporating and drying in the container, so that It can be used in minimal quantities and preserved for a long time.
