This Artisan Series release is dedicated to high quality, hand crafted sculpting and resin. The title of Jarl is perhaps the most misleading. Much like the word ‘Lord’ used in the southern lands, there can be a great gulf between two different individuals addressed by the same title. The same holds true in Nord society, where a Jarl remains a recognized leader of men, but the number and puality of the troops at his disposal can vary wildly. In the southern coast of Mannheim, where the weather is a little sweeter than in the true north and the sea provides its bounty through both raiding and fishing, a Jarl might rule over no more than one prosperous town or village, but still manage to support a standing fighting force of over a hundred hard bitten raiders and huskarls, doubling or tripling that during times of need. On the other hand, in the deep north where only small communities of few people can be sustained, a Jarl’s available manpower shrinks tremendously, often resulting in situations where a single Jarl and his hand-picked chosen men range over a large area, hunting and tracking outlaws and predators. The gap is further widened due to another powerful determinant of a Jarl’s status and resources; one’s command of ships. Having the ability to entice warriors with the promise of plunder and the income provided by the same, southern Jarls often command enough warriors to commit half their forces to raiding year round, without having to sacrifice on efficiency of their dwelling’s other operations. All the while, the income and glory from successful raids adds to a Jarl’s prestige, bringing even more men willingly under their command.
How they Play:
Tacticians and masters of raids, Jarls storm enemy positions with a mix of human infantry, brutes, and mighty Jotnars. Essential to any Nord Army List, these characters present a well-balanced aggressive warband to the battlefield, ensuring a strong early presence.

Lore:
The Ipparchos is a gifted commander and powerful combatant, whose nature is deemed too aggressive to entrust overall command of an army to. He is instead given tactical command of the fastest and most elite units on the battlefield where his direct leadership and natural aggression allow him to shine. This liberates the Polemarch or Aristarch to focus his efforts in the thick of combat, locking the enemy formations and creating space for his subordinate to size the initiative and deliver the killing blow.
How they Play:
A distinguished officer, the Ipparchos commands the cavalry forces of the City States armies. Capable of deploying a significant contingent of Companion Cavalry to the enemy's flanks and rear, the Ipparchos brings a crucial fast-moving component to any infantry formation.

Lore:
Companion Cavalry are rather an outlier in the City States forces, mainly because they do not, in the strictest sense of the word, belong to the citizen soldiery army of most armies. The Companions are rather a voluntary force drawn from among the wealthy Oligarch and noble families of the City States. Armed and armoured in the finest weapons money can buy, these impetuous scions of nobility are trained by retired Polemarchs and Aristarchs in the private gymnasiums of the wealthy while their horsemanship is honed in the massive hippodromes that tend to dominate the skylines of each City State. Despite their eclectic training and impetuous nature these horsemen are a valuable enough tool that the City States have diverged from their orthodox army organization to incorporate them.
How they Play:
The quintessential long-range precision tool for every City States commander, Companion cavalry shines when operating deep behind enemy lines. They threaten enemy light regiments and function as rapid shock cavalry—charging, withdrawing, and then charging again!

Lore:
The wealth and stability provided by the Sorcerer Kings in the Enclaves has allowed them to devote themselves almost exclusively to the perfection of their art and the pursuit of knowledge. Archery, and its perfection, is the main focus on the Dhanur, a centuries old military treatise that has been compiled and recompiled for centuries among the Enclaves. The only real need the Enclaves have is defense against the Free Khanates, and to this end, those that devote themselves to the mastery of the bow do so with a zeal unmatched anywhere in the world.
How they Play:Well-trained in the traditional ways of archery, the Dhanur offer ample ranged support to their Rajakur brethren. Their excellent ranged output also makes them prime entourage for spellcasting characters who wish to focus more on the meticulous preparation and casting of rituals rather than joining the thick of the combat.

All who serve the Sorcerer Kings seek to earn their praise and favor. Those who succeed in doing this are often granted power, knowledge and wealth beyond their wildest dreams. However most of those who please Hormus are instead granted one of his countless stone elephants as a means of conveyance and mark of their status, a mark whose perceived value diminishes as it is awarded again and again and again… However, none of those who have had their life saved by these enduring stone brutes fail to see their value.

There are 4 Dhanur Disciples that are provided with the Mahut, along with an alternate head for you to customize. If you add the "Favored of Hormus" Mahut rider, she will replace the Disciples in play and the Manut will serve as her base.
Lore:
Among the countless deaths that occurred during the Sorcerer King's evacuation, the death of the last elephant could perhaps have gone unnoticed had it not been Hormus’ own loyal steed who died in defense of his master. Since then the grief-stricken Sorcerer King has crafted and animated hundreds, if not thousands, of faithful stone replicas of his beloved steed. Each more grandiose than the last, they have all, thus far, disappointed him. Nevertheless he has gifted hundreds of them to his faithful subjects so that they might enjoy their protection like he once did. These ponderous stone constructs have been the bane of countless foes since, their brutal power a testament to the craft and might of the Sorcerer Kings. How they Play:Well-armored and supported by skilled Dhanurveda Archers, the Mahut acts as the hammer of the mortal forces. Excellent at contesting Objective Zones and engaging in prolonged combat, as the archers can fire directly at whoever the Mahut is engaging, further adding to its melee prowess. The Mahut also serves as a favorable method of transportation for none but the most powerful and stylish spellcasters.

Much like the Ugr’s, Werewargs are seen as the children of the Einherjar Vargyr, known for his shapeshifting abilities. They are more correct than they know. Werewargs are born when a blood descendant of Vargyr is bitten by a Warg and somehow survives. The influx of Warg DNA triggers the latent abilities, but lacking their forefathers control, it does so uncontrollably, triggering each time the warrior is stressed or injured. In battle these changes are triggered in a relentless cascade, their bodies reverting to their primordial form, healing them of all injury sustained, but exacting a terrible toll on their metabolism, making these beasts unstoppable, ravenous horrors the world has learnt to fear.
How they Play:
Fast, agile, and ferocious, werewolves exert immense pressure on enemy formations from the outset of the game. They particularly target enemy light ranged troops, as the werewargs' regeneration enables them to heal from any wounds sustained while closing in on enemy lines.

Lore:
Unlike the more docile Minotaurs or cunning Satyroi, the Centaurs were simply too primitive to integrate effectively into human society. The vast majority found their roles nonetheless as Prodromoi, scouts and border patrol forces that operated in regimented tribal structure bolstering the Legions with formidable vanguard and skirmish forces. A select few, the most ardent and pious among them, would be selected for further training, becoming an elite unit of messengers for the Pantheon: the Kyrikes, or Heralds, who could be trusted to deliver their gods’ messages even in the raging heart of a battlefield. How they Play:
Prodromoi ride ahead of the legions to scout the battlefield and contest enemy Light Regiments attempting to push their Reinforcement Lines forward. Although they are very strong on the offense, the Prodromoi's Memories of Old ability allows their damage output to scale up throughout the battle, making them a competent shock regiment as the game progresses.

5th Anniversary Remix Artisan Series Resin monster kit. Upgraded and updated sculpt with for a new look and a superior assembly that brings gamer quality of life improvements.
Abominations were originally an advanced and cruel form of punishment, devised on a whim by the Sovereign. Ensconced deep within an Abomination lies the body of an Exile who has betrayed his trust or breached the most sacrosanct of Spire laws. Survivors speak of a keening whine, just on the verge of hearing that pervades their memories, a sound that registers deeper than the cries of their fallen comrades. This is the only sound an Abomination can make, the only sound it is allowed to make: a keening howl to convey the depth of their misery and torment.
Invasive cerebral procedures impairs the cognitive function of the condemned, as chemical and hormonal treatments are applied to make them lose control of their Life-Binding gifts and forcibly bond them to a lower organism. The humble ant’s instinctive hierarchical physiology somehow made it more susceptible to Pheromonic command, forcing the body to respond to orders while allowing compromised psyche trapped within the hellish amalgam only enough control to wail its anguish even while enacting the will of its tormentors.
How They Play:
Fast moving and deadly, the Abominations act as the Underspire's monstrous hammer to its Drone anvil. Armed with vicious claws and deadly intent it is perfect for those who seek to quickly maneuver around Enemy flanks and punish enemy Regiments foolish enough to expose their flanks to the Abomination's flurry of blows.

While the greatest standing a Dweghom Warrior can attain is that of Hold Raegh, not all Raeghs are equal. The greatest amongst them are granted the title of Bergont Raegh and granted the honour of taking the hold’s own banner into battle atop the back of the only creature strong enough to bear its weight: the Ironclad Drake. So powerful and deep is this honour, that this honour persists beyond death, his remains riding to battle atop the Ironclad Drake until another might match his achievements and claim his title.
How they Play:
Riding an Ironclad Drake is the supreme symbol of Aghm. A Hold Raegh who has achieved such feats to earn the right to ride a Drake seeks only more formidable and larger adversaries. Such a Raegh merely needs direction towards the nearest monster or any other seemingly "unyielding" obstacle.

Clad in a shell of Dweghom-worked steel, an Ironclad Drake is a primordial incarnation of battle. Its already tough hide has been covered in thick iron plates, its vulnerable head and neck encased in steel. Warlike and proud like no other race, it should come as little surprise that the Dweghom have taken to displaying the might and prowess of their hold and history from the back of these powerful beasts. The greatest warriors among their kind, the Hold Raeghs, can often be seen riding these lumbering beasts, their swaying gait making the banners hanging from it ripple even as their roars drown the din of battle. This set arrives to you with three different posable heads so you can customize your warrior. Be sure to add the Raegh Drake Rider for added game play benefit (sold separately)
How they Play:
These formidable beasts are utilized in battle as mounts, and even after their rider's demise, they persist in their unending servitude, bearing the body and colors of their eternal master. In the Dweghom culture, "eternal" often means "until the next Dweghom rises with enough Aghm to claim this magnificent beast as their own mount." This notion alone motivates Dweghom in the presence of such a creature to fight with unmatched zeal, amplifying the ferocity of Dweghom attacks to unparalleled heights. This isn't even considering the presence of a powerful, fully-armored Drake wreaking havoc on enemy front lines.
