The effect develops organically during the drying process and can be intensified or softened by reactivating the paint with water. This makes it particularly suitable for layered weathering and controlled ageing effects. Usage Shake well before use. Apply with a brush, sponge, or stippling motion to the desired surface. Allow to dry naturally; the rust effect will become more pronounced as it dries. While drying, the paint can be reactivated with clean water to adjust colour, spread pigment, or create streaking effects. Can be applied over acrylic basecoats. Sealing between layers is recommended if you want to preserve underlying paintwork. Suitable for plastic, resin, metal, MDF, and painted surfaces. If you want to make a thinner consistency snot and gore, for example to be used for glazing an area, or you just prefer the product to be a bit thinner than it is, decant a little snot or gore into a separate pot and add thinner until you get that desired consistency for your work. If the pot you have made your mix in can be sealed with a lid it can be kept for some time. If Snot and Gore is a little dry, add only a few drips at a time to the pot and stir to bring it back to its usual consistency. If the Snot and Gore is very dry, the thinner solvent may need to be left for some time before it can be mixed in. Add a teaspoon of the thinner to the pot and Do Not Stir Yet. Leave for some time, possibly overnight, with the lid on. Then open the pot and stir well. If it is still too dry, repeat these actions but use less thinner each time you do this process until you get the usual consistency.
